Adv Muzi Sikhakhane: "Sikhakhane Report" | Land and the Constitution | PABASA
I caught up with Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane SC, a leading lawyer and co-founder of the Pan African Bar Association. They discussed what it's been like for Sikhakhane to represent former president Jacob Zuma, the constitution, the nature of justice and the famous Sikhakhane Report on SARS.

Adv Skhakhane is one brave and beautiful mind. The clarity of thought and his mature afro centric views. May he live long and find more audience. Our country is in short supply of men of his ilk.
Wow. The Advocate has earned a fan in me.

Mthimbane that what also stood out for me, profound indeed.
The genius in adv. Muzi Sikhakhane, he has balls for days, how I wish our leaders were half as good.
I have to be honest, I never knew much of the Adv. besides being Zuma's representative, but now I cannot get enough of the wisdom, and it's clarity, makes it easy for those who are not legal minds.
Thanks for watching. You can watch more of my interviews with South African lawyers here: kzread.info/head/PLElMlY-u7QWtyIzx8r6SG75jd7-H7hekM
It's interesting I read an article by Adv Ngcukaitobi speaking about the ways in which land expropriation can be achieved within the current provisions of the Constitution. Adv D. Ntsebeza wrote an article criticising Adv Ngcukaitobi's article and now what Adv Sikhakhane have just said is a concur to what Adv Ntsebeza said that we need to amend section 25.
this is the content I came on youtube for.
Thanks Sizwe for Interview Adv Sikhakhane SC, It is always great to meet "the person" behind the Beast in Official activities.
One of the people that can interpret law and implement it, real Adv.
I always come back to listen to this great mind! black excellence

Probably my favourite interview from #smwx to date, next to the Eusabius conversation. Adv Skhakhane's clarity on the land issue blew my mind. So many sound bites!! Great work Siz!

Great job Sizwe, we need this kind of media. Adv Muzi Sikhakhane ✊🏿✊🏿
What Adv Sikhakhane is saying about section 25 is what I have always said, if this section allows expropriation of land without compensation, why some people are prepared to go to court to protect it, while their views are clearly against expropriation of land .
I look upto this man as of today. Good work Sizwe🔥✊🏿
Thank you very much Sizwe for the eye opening interview, I wish you could continue and eventually/maybe enter into the mainstream media so that the majority of our people can have access to such uncontrolled, independent journalism. I am not sure how? as the media industry is controlled by people with ulterior motives to ensure that the status core remain for our African country.

Very intelligent advocate I like his thinking he articulate something I never thought
I thought you misled ubaba uNxamalala but after this interview I completely changed my mind about you Sir Skhakhane.
If we get too obsessed in always reminding those that did us wrong on how we feel about their wrong doings we will never prosper, instead we should spend our precious time in having an absolute understanding why they did us wrong, because with such an approach we automatically gain a birds eye view rather than a worm's eye view to the problem

Huddleston Zimba I guess it is not reminding them per se, but it the power and the wealth they still hold over us that reminds us that they are still oppressing us. Your argument may appear like saying to a woman who was kidnappen when she was 5 years old, groomed by her kipnapper to become a sex toy, raped and brutalised for 25 years. Been prostituted to anyone and the her capture keeping the earnings, after she made her a drug addict. When this woman laments how his captor has been let scott free, not even an apology given, when she is told to forgive and forget; you tell her that she will not heal if she keeps on reminding herself that she was once brutalized for years. Justice and fairness helps heal the wounds, unto this day, the Jewish people keep on telling their horroble past during the holocaust, they got the support of almost everyone in the world, almost the whole world supported their return to the the land of Isreal, and almost everyone turns a blind eye to their treenr of the Palestinians. So if a people like the Jewish nation, even after they got all the glory and the power, are still allowed to tell their holocaust stories; why do you think that silencing us for demanding justice and fairness is the solution? We are not reminding the victors, the oppressors, even though our statements sounds like that; but we are daily reminded by their failure to comprehend the loss we had and we have,by their maintainance of white privilage and continued monopoly of the economy; their racism and alofness on their past and present deeds. Almost everything is in favour of the white minority in this country. Remember that Justice delayed is justice denied.

Mtho!...Why aren't we devote all we have to advance our gain since we control the state resources? becaue we are not going to come out of the woods by continuously feeling pitty for ourselves

I guess that our education failed us because in never touches most important things that we need to have at least a rudimentary knowledge: 1. Conflict of interest. 2. Truth 3. Justice and fairness 4. Bias. I would never hate a taxi driver for allowing a rapist, a killer or a political opponent; however, I would hate an advocate just doing the samething.

"Our leaders are too scared to make white people understand the pain they caused to black people during their reign"ADV Sikhakhane power interview.
Indeed you need no 'spin doctor' to 'spin' the truth. The truth is always symmetrical - even though we are told that there are two sides to a story - both sides are always symmetrical (therefore, one side is good enough because it is exactly as good as the other).
