    fun video to watch as I wait for my ADV. (Thanks for not ruining it with music. otherwise I wouldn't watch it.). its good to learn the capabilities and limits of your bike. if you wanna ride those trails, the perfect bike would be the timeless TW200 by Yamaha.

    Interesting - on the right handlebar, where you have a kill switch, I have a switch to toggle the idling stop system. I miss having a traditional kill switch. Mine is a 2020 Australian model. I managed to crash mine too, within the first week of owning it. Nearly 3 weeks later and my butt still hurts. Gopro footage of my crash is on my channel for anyone interested.

    An adventure off-road capable motorcycle does not mean the bike can go anywhere without encountering traction problem. The dirt bike is the real definition of an off-road 2 wheel bike. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    It's my backyard. Yeah I agree with the weight. We will see if they're hollow or solid tubes. I would imagine that they're probably hollow to keep the weight down. I found out that this thing has a limiter of some sort. I don't know if it's just the rev limiter or if it's a speed limiter, but it will not go past 67. I feel it hitting a limiter of some sort. I'm hoping that it's just a speed limiter and not a rev limiter, that way maybe in the future it can be lifted via an ecu tune. Also, I wonder if it's like a first 600 mile limiter where it won't let you go past a certain speed until you reach a certain mileage. It's starting to break in for me and it will cruise at 55-60 no problem on flat ground. It's been getting about 75 mpg at that speed on level ground. Full beans and it goes down to 50 mpg which isn't terrible. I've played with the windscreen to see if effected speed at all and it definitely does. Believe it or not, it can only do about 61 mph with the screen down. With it up it will do 65 no problem. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference. I'm surprised that it goes faster with it up, but then it probably has something to do with it spreading out the wind evenly and having it curve around my body rather than having all the wind hitting my chest when the screen is down.

    Hello a question for you if you can help me please, i am used to combination brake where both front and rear are on the left lever, I have just bought a Honda ADV 150 here in the Philippines and its ABS on the front on the right hand lever and rear on the left hand lever, because i am so used to using the left hand lever do you think i can change the brake pipes over which looks an easy job to the front brake on the left it would just be changing the pipes over where they are connected to the cylinders on the brake levers

  • @WatchMeBURNFuel

    @WatchMeBURNFuel

    3 жыл бұрын

    It technically has plastic covering the complete bottom of the scooter, however, I wouldn't exactly call it a skid plate. It probably does offer a little protection but it's very thin. An aluminum or steel aftermarket one should be installed if you plan on going off road frequently. I personally don't know if they make any aftermarket ones yet here in the states. They probably do overseas.

    Is there a reason you can’t stay on mowed path? Scooters were never made to moto cross with. Guaranteed if you hit an unseen hole these small tires will drop down in and throw you on the ground . Hopefully handle bars don’t hit you in chest and break your ribs. Common sense could go a long way for you. 😬
