Henry Ha not all teenagers are bad, unfortunately a lot of people just assume that once a child turns thirteen they become a law breaking drug addict or something. This is such a misjudgment, I know lots of teenagers (myself included) who are the complete opposite.

I've grown so weary of always hearing about negative behaviors of teens...this story is so welcome and so refreshing!! There are lots of good kids out there, but they are seldom featured anywhere. I am so glad you took the time to post this story!

Of course I was once a teen...I was one of the less newsworthy kids that volunteered at a local hospital, delivered coats and PJs to local shelters, etc. It's just nice to see a story about the quiet majority. Well done, kids!!

Even though I live in Texas and was born and raised in the same neighborhood :( I do other crazy stuff like : Last week I had walked 28 miles to Dallas/ timelapsed it for my channel to voulenteer at the homeless shelter. And let me say for all the great people like You, Me and This guy and his amazing youth group WELL WORTH IT ;)

For all the teens that spent their Sunday helping others . . .your Youth Ministry is a real inspiration . How wonderful. God needed your help and showed you thank you covers any charge.

These boys are true Americans and good hard workers too. They care for their neighborhood. Can't say much for those who live in the hood as they say. We need more good folks like these guys on the planet. You go guys!

Harriet Lundt, i agree. It's called common decency, I'm also English and not religious. I don't need religion to tell me when to help a neighbour. If we get snow, I drag my lad out with me and we clear an elderly neighbour's drive. Why? Because it's the right thing to do.

I suspect that it was a slow news day and one of the people who had their driveway shoveled called the news station because they have no idea of what counts as news. Once a news van shows up in your face, it is just plain rude to simply turn them away, so they gave a brief and humble statement.

I am disabled and had two young men who were doing missionary work cleared the snow from around my car after the plows buried it on a number of heavy snow days. I was very thankful for their help and asked them to pray with me after they refused to except any money for their hard work.
