Just looked up the price of the luminance pencils out of curiosity.....once I got out the smelling salts I was able to appreciate the now reasonable price of prismacolors.

I just about died, my 4 yr old granddaughter is playing with her little ponies and she just told them "you are the boss of your coloring book", lol

Hi Dede. Beautiful, beautiful work. And thank you for telling me that I am the boss of my coloring book. I've only been coloring for about five months but i always have trouble remembering that! I just caught one of your livestream Wednesday videos and enjoyed it so much! It was fabulous, especially because I met SO many wonderful people there!!! I did send you a message asking you this question, but I will ask it here just in case. When you talk about the Neo II Crayons - are you referring to the Caran d'ache Neo II Artist Crayons? I found a set of 80 at Dickblick.com for $125.00 but Amazon does not seem to sell a very good set, at least not one with very many colors. You have a wonderful style and I simply love your artistry. You can be sure that I'll be checking out more of your videos for sure! Thanks so much!

Love your coloring! The pictures you show that you have already done (wish you had tutorials for them all, I'm just learning)...but, did you use the same pencils on those that you are using on this tutorial? Thank you for any information.

I used Luminance on all the MouseGuard pages, but different pencils (usually Prismacolor) for other pages.

I use magnafying glass to see colour labels.old age creeping in

Hi Dede. My name is Judy. Was it you one day that I saw using sticklers on a spider. He was red and you put red glitter on him and the back ground was painted black. Where do you get the sticklers. I can't find them anywhere.

Yes, it was in Imagimorphia . I get them at Michael's and Hobby Lobby.

Please...you made a comment about 'making it permanent and using matte medium'. Does that mean using water won't make the watercolor crayon color permanent? I don't understand. Old dog here, trying to learn whole new tricks. Haven't colored since I was a child.

I don't seal any color book pages. (I may have been talking about my mixed media collage using Matte Medium) Some people may use a spray fixative, I don't. Yay for coloring again!
