My first trip to Japan was in June of 2005 and I was so hyped off of [as] anime and bumps.

Adult swim bumpers were such a bop back in 05

I remember getting so excited when that Inuyasha bump came on

I hated that whenever it came on, it meant time to get ready for school.

I might even have hopes of getting a clearer version of the Paranoia Agent bump from the new tape I will be receiving from eBay soon. EDIT - It wasnt much better. :(

Jeez, these bumpers hit me with a wave of nostalgia. A lot of times I would be up early in the morning and watch Case Closed. If I wasn't, I set my VCR to tape. I feel so old saying that lol.

Woah. You people have better nostalgia than I have... I was born in mid-spring '05 tho

I believe most of these bumps lasted until Feb 2010 except for the custom bumps for specific anime

Only the crane and clown head, the colored boxes, and the atom bomb & horse lasted due to never being replaced after super deluxe stopped showing their ads. In March 2007 until Jan 2009, every going into commercial bump was replaced with a super deluxe ad or gametap. Of course during that time, weekday anime was removed, and the bumps were replaced. The 5 am bumps still ran until 2010 too.

I uploaded the bumps they used on weekdays at the time actually. It was actually the very first video I uploaded to this channel cause it was what I remember the most. :)

Samurai Champloo last aired in March 2008, though they brought it back for Toonami in 2016.

Because they aired alongside the anime shows, which come from Japan of course. lol. There were times I seen some of them with non anime though but it was a few times.
