This year has NOT been easy for me. I've skated less this year than I would have in a month a few years ago. So all that to say: I'm ecstatic that I passed my silver moves test back in July. Since we did it virtually, I actually have this one to show you! Bronze came and went, but Silver was a slow chug due to my school schedule. I definitely didn't do my best here since this was not the first attempt at this, but it was probably closest to how I would have actually skated at an in-person session. I passed 2/3 judges, and that's just good enough to me.
Anyway, thank god I don't have to worry about those spirals anymore, and Intermediate is a ways away...

So I didn't realize moves in the field is not figure skating. I think my coach is trying to get me to do moves in the field and I'm really really bored with the lessons. I hired her to help me get better at spinning. Not weird step sequences

What, moves in the field is just tests that you take to skate at a certain level. It’s like to see what level you are on. Even USA Olympic skaters have taken all their moves in the field. There is freestyle, that’s like spins and jumps. But it is all figure skating

@@rubymcdonagh3971 I took all the group free skate classes 1-6 but haven't done any formal testing outside of that. I wouldn't say I have mastered 100% of the free skate content (my spins aren't perfect)
