I had my Swifty One three years ago. But, due to injuries and arthritis I literally have hardly used it. I started using it daily a few weeks ago. The result no more aching muscles, the first time in over a year I am pain/injury free. Thank you Swifty

Just unboxed my Swifty One MK3 I took it for a ride. Really like it, One problem. I can’t get the scooter to fold up. The rear locking mechanism doesn’t seem to work or I am not understanding. Please Help

Hi Peg, lift the footplate and find the pin underneath on the silver handle. It is spring-loaded and can be stiff when brand new. You have to squeeze this pin then lift the silver handle upwards. Let us know if you're still having trouble! support@swiftyscooters.com

What is the user height recommendation for this scooter. I am 6' 3" would this be too small for me to tour with?

is there any movement in the stem, and lock mechanism, once unfolded? I ask because, I have a Xootr, and although it's a nice scooter, it has movement in the Gudgeon pin when its unfolded, and you can feel it knocking in operation. If I buy a Swifty, i'm leaning towards the non foldable version. But if someone can show me evidence of the folding version being nice and solid, with no knocking, or movement in the stem and locking mechanism in operation, then i'll conducer the folding version.

Yes. I agree. But I've had mine three and half years. I use it every day. So comfortable, I have arthritis so this is important. I will be having another Swifty Scooter when I need a new one

I have spotted your deliberate mistakes. LOL Front wheel needs a Hub dynamo to run lights and indicators. Rear wheel needs a hub drive electric motor. A slightly wider foot plate would allow the mounting of a saddle post on an "A" frame (swinging loose) from the read hub spindle to a location in the middle of the foo plate and a spring saddle. The front of the "A" frame to be adjustable with spring loaded buttons and holes on a slide tube. An other aluminium frame attached to the top on a hinge pin, Just under the saddle which, while held in broom clips at the bottom of the saddle post during motion, can be swung out across the axis on each side to form side stands, adjustable for height with spring stops to form a stable seat for me to stop for lunch with a soft seat. Table across the handle bars for my coffee? OH! How about a trailer for my shopping or brief case? I could also use the trailer as a "hand cart" If it has a high handle to fold out, and the scooter can fit on top. LOL With a 48v 20 ah minimum electric hub motor in the rear wheel and the batteries in the trailer? You could go on a world tour? LOL With "quick release rear hub" , one could swop-out the motorised wheel for the standard wheel for weight reduction for light weight local commuting where regular carrying on and off transport is required. Now?? Can we fit it with wings and a back pack propeller? LOL. I would need to buy 2 to use the back end of one to make the trailer frame and the steering post to make the saddle post. Now where can I mount my umbrella to keep off the sun or the rain when I stop for lunch? Does that give you food for thought to go on a world tour? Do I get a free one for my ideas? The front of the foot plate might be another folding position option as that circular shape looks like it could take a "dog clutch" held together with a quick release off set bolt?

Helen Rogers thanks for your feedback, you only get what you pay for I’m afraid. That’s why 8yrs on we have happy customers still scooting on original scooters. If your after a lower price we are not the brand to buy. There are plenty of options out there. Happy scooting. 😀👍🏽🙏🏻
