Adrien Broner vs. Mikey Garcia Highlights

Спорт

Two of boxing's biggest stars go head-to-head in a 140-pound super lightweight showdown: brash and flashy four-division champ Adrien "The Problem" Broner (33-2, 24 KOs) faces undefeated three-division world champion Mikey Garcia (36-0, 30 KOs), who's moved up in weight for the challenge.

You know even some of the Great fighters of all time have been defeated.... Of course in no way am i defending Broner i was there to see Maidana shut him up and that was fucking awesome... Damn...What is it about the comment section on boxing videos that have dudes gassed up and showing mad disrespect towards each other? It's ridiculous. No one in my gym(Nick's Fight Club) talks to each other like this and people differ on fighters ALL the time. Then again, all you have to do is strap up and fall in line if you REALLY want smoke. In fact, it's relatively quiet unless some good sparring is taking place. So...Anyway, it's embarrassing to be a boxing fan sometimes.

That's because people who talk shit have never stepped into a ring, even just to spar. In a true boxing gym everybody respects each other, even when knocked down or out.

@fast cash yes, that's my point. When you join a boxing gym you respect your teammates that you see and train with everyday. You noticed real trained fighters rarely pick fights? It's always the loud mouth who throws wild haymakers that "think" they can fight yet can't properly throw an uppercut.

You probably the type of casual that thought pacquiao at 147 was a mistake skills pay the bills Spence is to big for 147 but Danny Garcia, Thurman and porter aren't giants mikey would level them up like he did Danny Garcia in the amatures, Spence is another story but Spence gets whooped at 160 anyway 154 is his max at 160 GGG would brake em that coming forward only works at 147 with smaller fighters mikey might loose but atleast he has the balls to challenge himself like kell brook did going 2 weight classes Spence is still fighting small guys he should at least be at 154 not 147 😏

The head shaking thing does tend to be something some fighters do when they’re hurt, but the question is why; and there’s a few possible reasons. Firstly, it’s because they want their opponent to not think they hurt them, also, the crowd, cuz the fighter could be embarrassed they got hit with hard shots and are attempting to save face- if that’s the reason for a particular fighter for doing it, then that’s not a good sign of their fight mentality because that means they’re wasting mental energy focusing on what other people are thinking of them, when they should be focusing solely on the fight and nothing else, (not thinking about “oh this punch hurt, when people are talking about the fight after it’s over, they’re going to talk about me getting punched hard, I better shake and smile and act as if it was nothing so that way I still look legit”) obviously, I’m just giving on very specific example of a bad mentality, I’m in no way saying everyone who shakes and smiles after a hit is thinking what I just said. Also, they could do it to try and help themselves, in order to psyche themselves up, like, attempt to convince themselves that they can’t be hurt, kinda “fake it till ya make it” sort of thing. Lastly, if they do the smiley taunt thing with an actual SHAKE- then that could be to their benefit, cuz then they could be shaking off the cobwebs from the punch(es) and possibly at the same time hoping to make the opponent feel like their hardest shots won’t hurt them, or hope to pump themselves up like I mentioned earlier. Anyway, I suppose I shouldn’t speak so matter of factly considering I don’t do this when I box personally, and I’ve never asked someone who does do it. So I admittedly am guessing. Take my comment with a grain of salt
