Thank you for your reaction to ado's "Gira Gira". *"Gira Gira"* is an *onomatopoeia* that expresses very strong glaring or shining state. Japanese is a language with many onomatopoeias. In addition to when an object really glares, it can also be used as a metaphor for the sparkle in your eyes when you are aiming at something. The other onomatopoeia *"Mera Mera"* in the song represents a fire burning intensely. In this case, the fire is intense, but it is not a large fire accompanied by strong wind. It might be a small fire and might not emit a very strong light, but it is a fire that is hot and cannot be extinguished easily. Therefore, if there is something that you do not have and other people have, you have a strong fire of desire as *"Mera Mera"* in your heart trying to get it. By the way, the onomatopoeia "Bou Bou" is used for a large, strong fire accompanied by strong wind. Another onomatopoeia *"Kira Kira"*, which is a silent voiced version of *"Gira Gira'"*, means *"Twincle Twincle"*. Voiced sounds have higher intensity. *"Dignity"* by ado begins with Chiisana(Tiny/Small) awa(bubble(s)) *kirari*(glisten and shine). *"kirari"* is a non-repeating form of *"Kira Kira"*. *"KIRA KIRA"* apears also in *"Mirror"* by Ado. Japanese is an interesting language.

This song is probably about the feeling of *inferiority in appearance* , but I also think it's about the worries about the *GAP* between one's *inner self and the outer world* . Ado's songs often have themes like this. I think that people, not only in Japan, but also in the whole world, become aware of the *gap between the inside of themselves and the outside* , when they grow and recognize the world around them, and are thinking about what to do the gaps. It would be difficult to live if the gap remained large, but *if we made them completely the same* , there would be *no point in living* . I think most people are able to come to *feasible range* with it at some point, and then continue to make adjustments throughout their lives. The intense of feeling the gap differs greatly from person to person.

The title of this song is "Gira Gira"(ギラギラ ), which in Japanese describes something shiny From the MV, you can see that the girl went through three stages In psychology, people understand themselves through others People can only see their own figures through mirrors So when girls are young, they constantly receive external shining things while also seeing their unique selves from the eyes of others And from the reactions of those people, she realized her own ugliness Lamenting the self created by God using non habitual hands Later on, the girl underwent a transformation and learned to disguise herself in front of others through makeup(armed), trying to cover up her ugly self But gradually, this process began to make the girl feel lonely and sad The girl asked herself, are you planning to live your life like this? Are you ready to start making changes? The girl exclaimed how easy life would have been if God had created herself with his habitual hands, and also realized that God, like herself, was an imperfect existence So the girl stopped pretending to be herself, no longer just looking at shiny things and feeling envious But learn to love herself and let her shine forward This song is a warning to people to learn to love themselves Not only referring to appearance, but also to the spiritual aspect, without caring about the eyes of others to live up to oneself Ado's singing style involves understanding the characters in the song and performing them accordingly Just like the origin of her name, let her voice be a supporting role to make the whole song glow So you can see (hear?) different Ado in different songs because she is playing different roles She performed so perfectly in this song Unfortunately, in reality, she is still unable to appear publicly due to issues such as her upbringing, sensitive personality, and so on Even though she has become so famous and even started hosting world concerts, she still often expresses on SNS that she cannot love herself FYI This song was released on Valentine's Day to tell all fans not to be afraid of being alone . Its sequel "Eien No Akuruhi" was released on the following year's White Valentine's Day as a return gift to tell fans:「 Even if you think you are alone, there may be someone who loves you silently」 ("White Valentine's Day" is a special holiday in Japan. men receive gifts from women on Valentine's Day are required to return White Valentine's Day gifts the following month out of courtesy.)

*"Aitakute (piano and strings version)"* (I want to see you ...) was also requested by @jangjangjangjong who had requested to *"Eien no akuruhi"* in the reaction to *"DIGNITY"* , which caused this reaction to *"Gira Gira"* as the result. I heard it a while ago. The song sounds like a *beautiful teenage love song* and it is an insert song of the anime movie "Kaguya-sama wa kokurasetai (Kaguya-sama wants to let him confess his love to her)". It does not have a *"too strong poisons"* as Gira Gira. The requested _"piano and strings version"_ *does not have **_subtitles_* and composed of only some almost-still pictures. The other version (maybe original by also ado) have subtitles and some animation. For reference if Ms. Odd Samurai decides to react it in the future, I wrote down this information that does not become a spoiler.
