@@geoffblob these are not reviews but just shill reviews, everything is "amazing", haven't heard anything actually objective, not even mentioning critical. But maybe that's his general style, don't know only stumbled upon the Air 20 and this review. The fact I constantly hear amazing, great, super etc takes away of credibility, this is not a super high end amazing bike, looks solid but nothing special. No gears is a total no go though. I have nothing but hills around, gears are a MUST

Agree entirely with@@TheNitpicker ! It's OK if you are going to use it to get to the train every day, then cycle around the city. I've found that on long drawn-out hills, it's pretty useless - but then I am 84!

I have this bike without the front suspension. It causes a lot of wear and tear issues on the steerlock system because the shocks travel through it when driving over bumpy dutch roads. Highly recommended the 20S or the renewed 20, and their costumer service is top-notch!

Love this bike and it is near perfect. That cord hanging out of the back though kills the aesthetic. It's like the designers got baked af and then the next day realized they forgot the cord. Leaning towards the Fiido x because it looks better with the integrated lights and no hideous cord but I want a single speed belt drive, it looks sooo much better!

The saddle of my ADO air 20 broke and came off while I was riding on it in the middle of the road. I fell off the bike onto the road and got injuries. If there were a car, the bike would have killed me. It turned out the bolt of saddle had failed and could not hold the saddle. I'm 63kg so not above weight limits. Yeah, I had a similar issue with my Carbo S bike, which is what the ADO Air is modeled after. The clasp design is pretty weak and can break apart randomly. Is that the part that broke off for you? the piece that connects to the battery / stem? On my bike it's basically just a screw / clasp that is very fragile.

You could be a little more critical. For instance, I challenge you to get 100km out of the battery 😂. I get about half out of it, mostly using level 1. Although the battery level tends to jump up and down, so who knows what the actual level is. Support suggests swapping the computer. They're sending a new one, so that's nice. It's a shame that the bike doesnt come with a lock for the battery. Now you have to take it out and carry it with you anywhere you want to park outside. Also, the magnets were not included in my purchase. It's a decent bike, but certainly not a perfect one.

@@catherinecunningham1811 I'm in the Netherlands, no hills here. The closest i have to hills in the area are bridges, and i feel it gives plenty of pedal assist. I have the EU compliant 250watt version. I feel level 1 could be less strong, the gap between no pedal assist and level 1 is too big. Mind you, i'm new to ebikes and used to just pedal myself, so to me any pedal assist feels like i should be putting in more work myself 😅
