I'm pretty sure Adler has been brainwashed by the CIA, he was never on 'their' side in the first place. He is similar to Task 141 in that sense, he doesn't follow America on a dog leash just like Price and task force 141 when they begin to turn against the Urzikstan forces. I just don't know how this story with Woods is going to work because as far as we're aware he is on good terms with the CIA at the end of BO2 isnt he?

They’re repeating the old MW storyline. Livingstone is Shepherd, going to betray MacVSog and woods and Adler will be hunting him down looking like the bad guy, just like when 141 was disavowed.

Maybe Adler found some type of corruption within the CIA which ended up with him being framed as a mole and then Woods found this out and joined Adler.

What if it’s either Woods is being framed, or Woods is going “rogue” for a different reason? Like maybe he’s trying to clear Adlers name or get revenge for Masons death? Since him and Hudson are gone, it would have to be brought up in the game about the events in Panama, and we know it isn’t permanent since he ended up in the Vault in BO2

I just realized this too what if Weaver is the mole in the CIA? I mean the guy hasn’t shown up in any of the other black ops games aside from the first one. I know he was in the zombie mission cutscenes in Cold War too but the guy is kind of mysterious nobody knows too much about his background and life like the other characters through out the series.

Surely it can’t be hard to hunt down a man in a wheelchair.

They been working on call of duty black ops 6 for the last 4 years they was working on it way before mw3

I think Woods is rouge looking after Adler, not being with him. As we saw Woods going rogue seeing Manendez and this has gone more out of control after Adler was found to be the mole, also a reason for Mason's 'death'.

Ink is the mole 👀 🐀

I got a theory. Woods is declared a mole for shooting Mason and he has to clear his name while hunting for Adler. Woods has to set up his own task force and try to capture Adler before the CIA does to clear his name while evading the CIA. He eventually clears his name and gets a military badge + the opportunity to retire.

The plot of this game reminds me a lot of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

Not sure this is anything,, but but before Adler was introduced in Cold War all the previous BOs, our name in dialect was always red, in Cold War with Adler it changed to blue while our enemies maintained red. Same with MW when we got betrayed by Graves,, his name turn red from blue

Yoo might be onto something with Adler at the very least being part of Cerberus . The positioning of their symbol over the Capitol Building, along with the eye/brow ridges of the dog's face is a bit reminiscent of Adler's skins with a beanie on.
