Excellent shooting. Definitely show casing how minimal environmentals changes your impacts.

I like how you do your testing, just how it comes out of the box

The "flyer" on the last shot of your second target was 1093 fps, or almost 20 fps then your average velocity of 1075 fps ish ( I couldn't see every Garmin reading). That will make it at least 1/2" high every time. Since I have started using a Garmin for almost every shot I have fired I see about a 1/4" elevation change per 10 fps at 100 yards. I now evaluate my groups by shots on waterline at the same velocity.

John, not sure if you have done one yet, but I’d love a video on how you clean or maintain your precision 22lr rifles. Just watched the video you did on cleaning your center fire rifle with that bore cleaner and I’m curious if it is a similar process with the rimfire rifles. Thanks for making these videos and sharing your shooting hobby!

    Damn nice rifle

Your rifle is recoiling different on different shots; i.e. sometimes the reticle ends up to the left; sometimes the reticle stays more in the middle. There is dwell time with rimfire; more so than centerifire. In my opinion you need to get a rest setup where the gun is recoiling straight back the same each time. Thanks. Mike McAllister

Hi John, what are your thoughts on optics focal plane for target work? I know FFP is all the rage, but how about target shooting which seems to be what you do most? I'm particularly thinking of rimfire like this video. Thanks, Buzz. Frisco, Texas

Hey, really enjoyed your video, thanks for putting it together. What was that really cool little tool you were using to take apart your bolt. Gadget guy for sure here, don't have one of those.

Forgive me if I’m being a complete BR newb. I’ve never shot it and I don’t have access to the rest and bags you use. However, I noticed that every shot you take the crosshairs jump to the left 1/2” to 1” if I’m judging the farther size correctly. If you were to have asked me before watching the video I would have guessed all the movement of the gun would have been back and forth with a little vertical hope upon firing. It seemed like a very consistent movement so I assumed it’s not an issue but I’m interested to know why it does that.

Hey John, can you or I for that matter, is it ok to bring the garmin xero to the line during a F-class match. I see you mounted it on you Seb. Do you put it on there while shooting "official matches". I use mine in club matches and most everyone else does too. I've never shot a national event so I was curious. I know it says no electronics but everyone has a phone. It seems like it should be ok but I feel like the answer is no...
