@@trustindustin2 Hi Dustin. I'm the one who makes and sells the Missing Link. I'm having trouble getting the material to build the Missing Link and I should have it by next week then it's off to the machine shop. If you email me your info, I will add you to the backorder list. I apologize for the delay. It's so frustrating that I'm have this much trouble getting material in America for a part that's made in America.

I replaced the factory OEM shocks on my 2017 Street Glide Special. When I measured the OEM shocks off the bike, the left hand one (with the preload adjuster) is 8mm longer than the right hand shock when measured eyelet to eyelet centre. Even though the aftermarket shocks are identical length there is still a difference in shock lengths of about 8mm longer on LHS when measured on the bike with bike off the ground. Does the factory purposely engineer a bit of left hand steer bias to compensate for the fact you ride on the right side of the road so that causes the bike to steer up the hill towards the crown of the road and they sort of balance out. I am in Australia and we ride on the left side of the road so I am steering down the slope away from the crown. Does that make a difference? Given that my aftermarket shocks are both the same length should I still fit an adjustable link to level the swing arm? The bike currently does like to wander slightly left if I let go of bars. The faster you go the more noticeable. Thanks, very helpful info on your channel.

2020 RGS with only 5k miles on it. On high speeds above 80mph bike front end (Not Handlebars) wobbles or slithering (wave-like-motion) its no to scary but gotta keep hands tight on those bars and bike finds it difficult to drive in straight line!! replaced tires to new OEM pair, upgraded front+rear shocks, checked wheel bearings and serviced the Neck bearing but that led to 20% improvement only. last night took off the rear shocks & measured (bolt-to-bolt) found 1/3 inches higher on left side. I ordered the Missing link and hoping dealer can install it but is there any other part i should look into repairing/replacing/servicing while we change the Missing link? swing arm bushing or anything else?

Make sure your rear shocks are of equal length once you unbolt them from the swing arm to install the Missing Link. Sometimes the snake movement can be from your triple tree being just a little bit too tight.

Ground Zero did not use equalizer, they didn’t seem like they had a clue as to what I was asking them. My bike still pulls slightly to the left “ever so slightly,” so how do I adjust the link? Does rotating it from front to back push the motor right or left? Also not meaning to bash names but I did text and leave voicemail but never got a response. I’ve been trying to fix this last bit for over a year now…..

Do I need to use the equalizer to align the bike if I purchase the Missing Link or can I just measure my swing arm distance on both sides to align it?

The Equalizer is designed for professional motorcycle technicians and does more than just measure for the Missing Link. You can use a tape measure, and there will be a huge improvement. The Missing link comes with installation and adjusting instructions.

Hi Aaron. I regret to say there isn't a shop in Nevada that has my system. I'm in Rancho Cordova, just east of Sacramento. I'm the only shop in Northern California that does frame repair and drive train alignments. Grumpy's Motorcycles in San Bruno does alignments.
