I think the Fanatics are a good “travel jerseys”. Meaning you can pack them in a suitcase/bag without having to worry about the crest folding.

I am benhsports on ebay ... all I sell is hockey jerseys. I have chose not to even stock Fanatics. I CAN .. I have every opportunity to buy them from the wholesaler that I purchase my licensed product from but I chose not to stock Fanatics jerseys at all due to the fact that the cost difference is minimal and the quality difference (in my opinion) is MASSIVE. So, I agree with Shannon .... for a little bit more money, the Adidas jersey is a much better value. Thanks Shannon for the great job you are doing keeping everyone informed on all things hockey. (one small correction ... Shannon was holding a size 50 Adidas and he referred to it as Large. Size 50 in Adidas in fact is considered to be Medium. Size 52 is considered to be Large)

I think it’s mainly an issue of how much you care of authenticity. If you just want a jersey, fanatics is fine. I have a fanatics jersey and find it more comfortable then my older Reebok jersey was. I can see why people would want Adidas for quality, which I get. At least for me the only adidas jersey I could see online was the custom jersey, which would ultimately make the price almost 100 bucks more.

Can't say I wholly agree. While you won't get the same quality with Fanatics, obviously, I don't think it's as poor as everyone makes it out to be. Jerseys aren't cheap products, and if you simply want to show off your team by wearing something that looks, feels, and by all rights is a jersey, then Fanatics is fine. Not everyone is in a position to drop the money on authentic jerseys, and if I'm being honest, I've got a Fanatics Oilers jersey and it is more than quality enough. The oil drop isn't the same texture as the rest of the logo, everything is printed cleanly and accurately, and it feels great to wear. Plus, VGK's jerseys are quite the spectacle compared to most. If you're just collecting jerseys, or want something nice looking but cheaper to wear, Fanatics is the better route. But ya might as well get an authentic one for your #1 team if you can afford it.

Raziza just got a Hurricanes blank white one arrive today I got on sale for 50 bucks. It feels good albeit not as good as the adidas but as a hardcore hockey fan I kinda like both brands and both have their pros and cons. I can see the fanatics ones being my choice for I want to wear one out and about or around the house. It feels thinner but not that much thinner. I like the fanatics brand for a lot of stuff and as much hate as fanatics gets in general I like them. I haven’t had any of these horrible experiences you hear about on social media in sports social media. I like fanatics.

I remember shopping at the Sharks Store at SAP Center when the adidas first came out and a big talking point amongst people in the store (myself included) was how much better adidas looked compared to fanatics side-by-side. Seeing them both up close led me to stick to Adidas, though I will say fanatics is pretty comfy. Like you said, I wouldn't mind a fanatics at a discounted price, would definitely be worth it.

I bought a fanatics Marner Annapolis stadium series Jersey for 120 Canadian and my son a youths NHL Matthews Annapolis stadium Jersey for 59 Canadian. Both made by fanatics and i have to say the youths is way better quality as everything is swon on the jersey and the logo is fully embroidered. Compared to swon on name plate and logo stiched in and everything else heat pressed on, on adults jersey. Also my leafs logo only outer leaf boarder and vanes are embroidered, but the latter's are silk screened on. I only got mine because of crazy price. I agree with Shannon the fabric feels nicer then the the adidas, but the adidas will last longer as better quality materials throughout. However, i still like my koho Sundin and my CCM Gilmore jerseys more, i still wear my Sundin while the Gilmore is framed in glass case. They seem to be of better quality even more then reeboks. I am still on the fence about paying 279 Canadian for an adidas player jersey. The fanatics are still crazy priced at 199.99 Canadian for a players version. If your a serious collecter definitely go adidas, but CCM, koho, and Reebok is the way to go. Hopefully adidas will start releasing real authentic jerseys minus the full stitching like reebok did. The adidas jerseys still feel way different then what players wear. If your a hobby collecter that likes to get jerseys for the player and logos where price is an issue. Fanatics way to go as you can get a player jersey on sale for crazy deals if you look hard enough, usually no more then 100 to 125 US. The Reebok new are harder to find, the popular players only going up in value, unless you look at second hand used market. My two cents.

I understand why you would buy each one. To me as long as it shows which jersey/team I'm wearing, that's all that matters to me. Plus not having the money I am sticking to whatever I can find. So far I've been able to find 2-3 fanatics jerseys for cheap so that's fine with me. As long as it shows what team I'm rooting for that's works for me. Obviously this video wasn't for me specifically but I understand wanting one or the other.

I want to grab one of the new jerseys but i just can't bring myself to it. I have mostly reeboks with a few older ones sprinkled in. I just like reebok better and since the sweater designs really haven't changed much i dont see the point of dropping the extra cash on an adidas rather than a rbk. I want an adidas but that price tag is scary especially if its not what the players wear. I'll probably get a VGK just to have it. when i can find a sale.

I have 3 fanatics Reebok Lightning jerseys I’ve had them for 3 years and have not had a single problem with either of them I agree that there is a difference but to me the differences are very subtle at least for the Reebok jerseys I don’t own any adidas jerseys nor have I seen the fanatics ones in person so I can’t really say if there is a difference or not

I just (an hr ago) but an “authentic” Bruins jersey for the fanatics website for $184 out the door including expedited shipping. Normally $225 but they’re running a 30% off sale! I’m 5’5 and weigh 170lbs so I chose the size 44, I hope I picked the right size! Great video (as ALWAYS) Shannon!

The adidas are slimmer. For example, I can wear a medium or large (50,52). But they are long! That’s why I went with the 50. A 52 looks like a dress on me and I’m 6’0

CCM for the nostalgia, but I think Reebok is probably still the best ones.

I am restarting my hockey Jersey collection up again now that my NFL football Jersey collection is almost complete. My Hockey Jerseys are Reebok or CCM because the Adidas or fanatics jerseys do not come in my favorite players are old school players. Would the Adidas or fanatics came in old school players.

50, the logo is noticably smaller in sizes below 50. They look like youth jerseys.

Hey Shannon I'm not sure if you knew this because I didn't really know this but the ccm vintage jerseys all those awesome throwbacks from ccm apparently is done because ccm can't make them anymore because of Adidas selling the ccm company off so it looks like our days if being able to get any more of the vintage Canadian made throwback jerseys are no more which makes me just a bit upset would love to know your opinion on this thank you love the channel

I have a large Fanatics Oilers jersey and 2 size 52 adidas Jets jerseys, and I find that both of the Adidas jerseys are a bigger fit compared to the Fanatics. They’re quite baggier and really they’re too big for me to wear, while I find the Fanatics is pretty much a perfect size. Does anyone know how the size 50 Adidas fits compared to the large Fanatics? I prefer the Adidas in pretty much every way and I don’t mind paying more but I just don’t dig the fit.

do both of them have the splits on the sides at the bottom?

I have an older reebok authentic jersey and love it but it was showing its age and with the caps winning recently i decided to frame it. I bought the fanatics assuming theyd be similar to the old reebok premier jerseys. Where was this video a week ago -_-

I actually like the shiny NHL logo on the Adidas. It makes me feel superior 😂 but I have a Capitals home Adidas jersey and the red is a lot more vibrant, it’s almost orange when compared to the Fanatics. I think the color pops a lot more on the Adidas

I just got my on ice away vegas jersey from preseason. There are so many differences. Material. Stitching. cut. Lettering. Double sleeves. Made in Canada. The only thing the same is the new adidas nhl logo. I will never waste money on an adidas authentic pos again

Because they are made of high quality materials that take a lot more craftsmanship than lower quality soccer jerseys that are nothing but sublimation.

I have a home fanatics vegas jersey I like it

You can probably remove the fanatics tag on the fan jersey I’ve seen it done with reeboks

I will say one team that has always been drastically different when it comes to replicas from ccm, reebok, and fanatics is the Blackhawks. The Hawk head on the front is chain stitched on the authentics but is stitched normally on ccm and reebok and is the appliqué on the fanatics. The head is never truly accurate and on the ccm replicas the tomahawks are completely wrong as well. I’m a Hawks fan from Illinois and while I do own (and love) my Hawks ccm and reebok replicas, I will admit that the head and the tomahawks are very different on the authentics

I got 2 shirts a few months ago one is Adidas and the other is Fanatics and the Fanatics shirt the logo is already cracking and the Adidas shirt looks pretty much brand new... I'd venture to guess that the Fanatics jerseys won't hold up!

I’ll eventually try both but waiting for the good sales after the season. I wouldn’t mind paying full price for an Adidas but no way on a Fanatics.

I love the fanatics jerseys. They look really good even if they aren't as nice as the adidas. They are cheaper and I feel like they are the next best option to the adidas jerseys. Also the patches are soft and don't get bent which is really nice. Plus they don't have the ugly venting on the shoulders

I have several adidas ones and I don't like the fight strap also the way they flair out at the bottom.

I got a Kucherov Adidas Jersey and I love it more than my ccm stamkos and Reebok Kucherov.

I have several of the Fanatics and I enjoy them. I’m not sure I’ll actually buy any more of the Fanatics though.

It always lot easier to tell the Blackhawks authentic to the replica because the Hawks are the only team in the NHL to use chain stiching.

I bought a Adidas white Penguins jersey with Brassard on the back last month, and I'm very happy with the jersey. I'll spend the extra money for a jersey that is going to last a lot longer than a jersey that is going to fall apart faster. I've never had a Fanatics jersey, but I was also happy with my Reebok jerseys. Last, I do agree with the hockey guy that Reebok jerseys are bigger overall than Adidas.

As a hockey player who’s tried a lot of the different nhl jersey and non nhl jerseys in the past the adizero Adidas jerseys are by far the best I’ve ever owned, best quality, best fit (pro looking fit) best breathablity by far yes it is an expensive £150 but worth every penny

I snagged a pro return addidas and a pro return reebok, and I have to say, in terms of durability and bang for your buck Reebok still makes the superior jersey.

I only got a Fanatics because NHL shop didn’t have the Adidas road jersey I wanted. Plus it was on sale for $99 instead of $149

I love these new Adidas jerseys I have a Bo VANCOUVER CANUCKS one it's my favorite Jersey I have i love them compared to my CCM and Reebok ones

I miss the old days of CCM and Koho etc when you either got a 1) "replica"...cheaper fabric and plastic/ironed on logo (cheapest), 2) "semi pro" - same fabric as on ice, but thinner, monogrammed logos and shoulder patches that were at least glued on with a good glue (mid range price) and 3) "pro"- the actual on ice product, thicker fabric, reinforced elbows, fight straps etc. When Reebok took over they introduced confusing/silly names that told you nothing of quality - "Premier" and "Edge" ...in fairness the primary logos were only slightly different (unlike the new Fanatics) but anything else were those vinyl patches. Also, as with Adidas, Reebok lied to the consumers...I had the both a Premier and Edge version of my favorite team and was satisfied with both, but thought the one with the fight strap was on ice authentic until recently when I took a closer look and saw it was made in Indonesia and the elbows weren't reinforced. I so wish we could go back to the days where a discerning customer could pay for the one ice product if they wanted and other customers got something that wasn't so obviously of poorer quality (again vinyl patches)

I just received a Austin Matthews home fanatics jersey my first Fanatics Jersey cause I always just buy the Adidas ones and I thought I’d try one just to see what was up with them, I would definitely still recommend the Adidas over the fanatics but they are still nice to a point I actually recommend them over the old premier Reebok’s the feel more heavier and better made than the Reebok’s were. But I hate the shiny logo on the crest and the shiny names and numbers of they would change the shiner crap they would be pretty nice

B A did you buy it right from the fanatics site?

I think Knights' jerseys are going to have the most difference. The reflective gold material is far better on the Adidas and hasn't been well replicated with any lower tier jerseys. The logos are also a different size.

I have a WCH jersey just like you, and I noticed that they are the REAL replica's. They are the "Premier" adidas...no fight strap, but not fanatics. Makes me wonder why Fanatics is a thing?

Agreed on fanatics, I bought a white Barzal jersey from fanatics and I wasn’t impressed with the logo as opposed to adidas

I wouldn't mind the fanatics as much if the logo wasn't all one layer if the logos were embroidered like the reebok or ccm or even like the Adidas authentic I could maybe justify buying a fanatics that's the only real complaint I have about the fanatics is the way the logo is made it just doesn't stand up to the older jerseys

I don’t get why people are hating on fanatics. To me I don’t think there’s nothing wrong with fanatics, the quality is good. It’s just that I like adidas a little bit more cause I feel they’re more original and more valuable. I just like the name of adidas brand for a jersey, cause I feel it’s more of a “real jersey” . my problem with everyone reviewing these jerseys is no one talks about the size! Sure if your 5'8 180 an Adidas is great the fit is good. But if your 6'4 300 the Adidas are way to small, and that is fanatics plug those jerseys are made for the fans.!!!

I think the appearance depends on which team for the Fanatics. Some of them I've seen have an ugly crest while other Fanatics look very close to as good as the Reebok "Premier" line of jerseys, but fit much comfier. I have Adidas, Reebok, and Fanatics jerseys, and the Fanatics without a doubt is the comfiest (and warmest). It feels kind of like an Under Armor (or Nike) workout sweater, and the crests for the numbers and logo aren't stiff to move around in. I was all on the Adidas (and Reeebok) bandwagon until I was very pleasantly surprised with a Fanatics that I received as a gift. It probably helps that I know the gift purchaser got the jersey for ridiculously cheap (on sale), so I can't complain there.

i like the fanatics jerseys better. i have a Vegas home and a Toronto Arenas jersey. it feels just as comfortable, if not better than the adidas to me. i have a rangers winter classic adidas as well

What made you ever think that fanatics was a good manufacturer of sport clothing? Did they ever compare or was able to compete with the likes of Adidas and Nike? I'm still trying to figure out why fanatics is even involved in the manufacturer of sport-related clothing. I know that they have some official contract deals but who in the right mind will never trust them to make quality merchandise. They could easily Outsource with cheap Chinese Manufacturing. I've ordered a few things from them and I will be inspecting the quality looking for any inconsistencies. And the stuff that I've ordered is authentic merchandise that is supposedly manufacturer Direct-- we will see about that.

I love how NHL themselves sell fake jerseys on their site. Doesn't make sense. I got an Arvi jersey from Fanatics for $180. Then someone linked me to coolhockey and I found an authentic for $175. Authentics way better than Fanatics imo, and NHL needs to stop selling knockoffs.

NoVa Dude they’re not knockoffs XD they’re licensed by the NHL and are referred to as replicas.
