Someone else dressed as Papa 1 & came out to join Ghouls while they played Genesis. Though Tobias was in Papa 1 mask during beginning of concert but then went to change when song before Genesis came on.

@@TheGoGoat91Opus wasn’t meant to have Tobias singing, he was trying to be one of the singers from Candlemass, who when asked to take the role as Ghosts vocalist declined the offer so Tobias decided to take the reigns as the singer. So by the time it came to Infestisumam, it was Tobias actually singing like he would and not being like the dude he originally intended to have sing

@@jordanstrang8056 you do know that tobias made ghost and wrote the songs and music right? He was not asked to do Ghost. Because he wanted to play the guitar for his band he searched for a singer but havent found a fitting one and decided to just do it himself

@@lucamoller6448 Yeah I know, I said that in my comment 😂 I’ve been a Ghost fan since the Opus days, He revealed in the Spotify interview that he did back when he was officially identified thanks to the lawsuit, that he originally wanted to be just the guitarist and he wanted one of the singers from Candlemass to be part of Ghost and sing the song as he didn’t feel like his voice suited it so on the Ghost cassette demo he tried to sing abit like the Candlemass singer he had in mind, but the singer he asked ended up declined and since they couldn’t find anyone suitable enough, Tobias bit the bullet and decided to take the role as the singer. So the reason why the vocal style of Opus was slightly different to Infestisumam was because he’d originally written those songs for someone else to sing instead of himself singing them but then when it came time to write for the second album, he was established as the singer so he sang the songs in a style that was him and not him trying to emulate someone else

I told myself I wasn’t gonna get into ghost lore after spending a considerable amount of time figuring out Gorillaz lore. Well, here we are.

Man imagine being at this show this is before all the norms we know about the band your just watching the concert than the acoustic part happens you see Papa 1 in white look into the darkness walks into it your like wtf is going on and while I'm the dark BOOM another pope shows up out of nowhere your now in even more confusion then Papa 1 passes the torch to his new Papa with a staff speaks in a different language and que bran new song never heard before your now going what woah wtf hears new song WOAH WHAAAT LETS GOO

I think I further it out, when Papas when sit down in the back right before he was about to get up and have the audiences applaud, that is when they switched. Papa 1 was not really out up well. So at point when he went to sit down in the back, before the audiences applaud bit, is when they switched to somebody else in Papa 1 outfit and Tobas switched to Papa 2 outfit!

I LOVE Ghost. But there is something so fantastic and dark about this era. I love everything they’ve done and Imperium is a masterpiece start to finish, but this was and will always be my favorite era of the band. It had more of a shroud of mystery and darkness that’s missing.

Great but it theatrical, always wondered how did they do that! It If Tobas is Papa 1, then how did he appear as Papa 2 across the stage? Because unless the vocal parts are dubbed then how did they do it? My thought is as Papa 1 is crossing the stage, momentarily he.is dark and then Papa 2 appears across the stage. So I guess somehow as Papa 1 crossed the stage, he is replaced with someone in Papas 1's outfit. But is that enough time when Papas 1 crossed the stage, to have Tobas switch outfits? There is a brief moment when there are no Papas on stafe. So I guess what happens is that as Tobas in Papas 1 outfit goes into that unlit part of the stage, that he switched outfits.t I don't know if there is time. There is the big where Papas 1 is walking around having the audiences applaud each Ghoul that he could of switch places with somebody in another Papas1 outfit and did the whole bit. This certainly is enough time for Tobas to switch out from one outfit to another. Can anybody else explain how this happen?

It was another actor with the PAPA I outfit on, while Tobias was in the back, changing into his PAPA II outfit.

The song they were playing was instrumental, meaning it required no vocals from Tobias. Most likely, at some point during that song Tobias switched places with someone else in the Papa I costume and got ready in Papa II.
