Just took delivery of my Adex club after watching many of your videos. I gave away my Tacfit clubs (5,10,15, 20). I really like the efficiency of the Adex system. Also, built like a tank - should last a lifetime. Thanks for showing this cool product to us.

Enjoy. I love mine
Been playing with the arc for a few months. Love it. Also represent Ohio!
Thanks Mark Wildman. I just ordered the fat handle (trifecta) big deal. Club, Arc, and Mace fat handles and standard weight set that makes a 30# ish mace. Will add the add-on kit later. Will be using light for over a year. You convinced me that the Arc in light as a rehab club.
Mark this video convinced me to purchase the Mark Wildman version of the Adex Club Thanks
My Adex 'Big Deal Kit' arrived a couple weeks ago, and I have not used the Arc yet, so I am happy to see you do a video on it. Thanks! Looking forward to seeing more of your assessment on the length of the Arc lever compared to Mace vs. Club.

It's actually Adex.
If Adex made plastic spacers to use with the regular handle, the weight could move further from the hand creating a longer lever arm. This could give short people another reason to live.

its in the works
I have ARC and am 6.1 - 6.2 and have yet to hit my feet. I like it for developing my mills as it bridges the weight gap as you mentioned and the longer lever can also be played within your grip to make the one-handed exercises harder or easier. FAT handle option is the way to go imho
If you need a longer lever, why not use plastic spacers to move the actual weight "away" from the handle? I did it for my first adjustable DIY club. Used solid pvc pieces to fill the void in the 2 inch plumbers pipe head when it was not fully loaded. Worked like a charm.

do they shift around? what diameter
@CharitonIosifides

@@MarkWildman exactly the same shape and dimensions as the actual iron weights. That makes them interchangeable. So if I want a “longer lever” I insert the plastic blanks first (closer to my hand) and the actual weights after (further from my hand). I will take a couple of pictures and post them on my Instagram and put a link here. Pictures make it much easier to understand.

Thanks for your videos! Because of you, I've added regular days of kettlebells and clubs to weekly routine. I can see the Arc as a great replacement for Persian Meels or Indian Joris. I have a nice pair of Meels someone gave me, but they're not cheap and buying a heavier pair would run about the same as an Arc. And then again, and again... It's only working one side at a time and the weight is obviously more focused on the end vs. along the whole Meel, but I see it as a good compromise.

They are pretty fun. Traditional wood is great, but very expensive if you don’t have your own lathe
Thanks for this video, I've been debating the purchase of an ARC but was thinking of using it more as a mace then a club. Since I'm about 5'7", I could use a shorter mace. I already have a Pahlavandle XL for a heavy club but adjustability is a bit of an issue, empty it's too light, filled with rice it's too heavy (can't imagine filling it with sand! ). So I'm looking for a solution that will allow convenient adjustability. Looking forward to see how you use it moving forward.
If Adex wants a short A sound, I'm going to need a second D in that word

I was thinking this as well, but then I came across the word "patent." I know there's a more than that but I don't wanna list them all. So anyway, I don't know how to pronounce it.
I'm doing your TOI program and bought both handles. I'm 65. 5'3. Hope to get use of the Arc ..too heavy and awkward for me right now

@@KettlebellCarlos Good to know, thanks!
I think that a bulava (polish mace ax) has a handle lever that is between a club and a mace in length. I have seen a video of some polish dudes (barbellians) using that in their training.
I've been using my Arc for a couple weeks. I'm 6 foot and only swinging 11 lbs., but IMO it's great as a heavy club! My wife and I got two skinny clubs, one fat arc, and one fat mace April 1st. I've been using a 10 mace a few times a week for 6+ months (since I found your channel.) I've been planning to use the Arc through your app program as my heavy club. Though my reason was because I prefer the fatter handle, given our purchase decisions.
In case you didn't know, Adex does sell thicker handles for the club, mace and arc.
Wouldn't adjusting the grip closer to the center of the handle deal with not clipping your toes away? Say like a hand or two higher on the handle?
Did you work out, if only choosing one, you’d recommend? Edit: okay so I’ve just seen a video on the ADEX channel where they recommend the adjustable Arc handle over the Club (or the Mace) for its versatility and crossover into both realms of training.
Too bad I didn't know about these and the the Kettlebell Kings adjustable comp bell at the start of the pandemic.
@zhalzel

Don't feel too badly, they all sold out instantly
@Mark, are you using the standard ADEX handles thickness or the fat handles? If the standard ones, would you prefer them slightly thicker or is that your ideal handle thickness?
the main thing i use arc for is improving 5 min mace set ... just try it .. also because im a big guy its easier to do a mill with a arc
From watching this video I think 10” was too much of a jump from the club to the arc. I am 5’-8” and I would have liked to see them increase the handle length maybe 6” instead of 10”.
At the beginning, you mention you had to adjust to the smaller handle on the club. Would you recommend getting the 1.2" 'fat club handle'?
@GrantGardner80
3 жыл бұрын
I had that same question before getting mine and someone else mentioned that for them they could just use a glove to increase the grip size for them. I'm a tall guy, but have pretty small hands especially for my height, so I went with the 1" original handles and have been very happy. I didn't have any club experience before so it wasn't an adjustment for me. And if I get to that point of wanting more challenge for my grip strength, I'll go the glove route. That's been my experience so far.

The fat handle is 1.2 inches or 30 mm. My 25lb RMax is a 35 mm handle. Most non adjustable clubs in the 25 lb increment have a 35 mm ish handle. Coincidentally that is also the handle size of a competition kettlebell. The 1.2 handle takes some getting used to. I also find the powdercoat a little too smooth.
I'm gonna have to get one in a few months I'm an tall 5'5 !!!!

With arc handle I can add 2-fives and 1- 2.5 weights. It’s more than I can work with but it clears my foot.
I’m considering this as my first club purchase but concerned about length. When I stand tall with knees slight bend my fingertips are about 27 inches from ground to give height reference. What your fingertip to floor measurement so I get some perspective? Thanks
@MarkWildman

The adex would work for you. You can adjust it to be a shorter length
"Taller guys with long arms club" here: I'm 6'1 with a 6'5" wingspan, which is good for basketball but not so good for swinging long and heavy things over my toes. My guess is this can be an interesting hybrid for shorter athletes, if my calculation are correct I would throw the thing on my feet even with the 5-pounds sleeve setup.
