Yes and I feel so bad for her when she was filming an audience with Adele she was very nervous and not very happy and that makes me feel so bad for her. I mean with her voice i wouldn’t be nervous.

This song also kills me cause she said it’s a message to her son apologizing she couldn’t stay with his dad, but asking him to take it easy on her cause she really thought she was doing the right thing when they got married but in the end couldn’t fix their marriage.

I’m not sure if you’ve heard her talk about the song but she’s said it’s a letter to her son for when he’s older explaining why she left his dad and is asking her son to go easy on her for the decisions she made. Knowing that made me hear the song in a totally different way.

Every time Hannah says "Do it again." I think of the Phantom of the opera yelling "SING FOR ME!" XDD

Crazy FUN Fact: Adele's vocals on all of her singles and albums are DEMO VOCALS! That's unheard of. She wants to feel the full emotion of singing a new song for the first time, especially when they're so personal for her. So, she never re-records her vocals, per multiple interviews. She also doesn't use auto tune.

She was staring deep into my soul in the beginning there- I felt it too✨

Best of all, there's a piano, a bass and a voice. No auto tune, no frills. Just a great singer delivering a fantastic vocal. How refreshing compared to most of what's out there. Thank goodness Adele is back! And thanks to you Hannah for pointing out the brilliance of this performance.

Adele is literally power embodied. Like, she makes choices in her singing that surprise seasoned vocalists and she sounds soooo unique. Also, altos are just so underrepresented in mainstream music and Adele kickstarted that shift.

For me she is absolutely the voice of a generation ❤️. I saw her being interviewed a bit ago, and she said she can't go as high since the throat surgery. That she went from a soprano to a mezzo. It was really interesting hearing her discuss the technical side of things. I think you stopped breathing there for a minute on that first chorus, lol 💖

Actually she's able to sing higher notes after her throat surgery. Her voice now is cleaner and a bit lower. Her voice type is a very dark messo-soprano but I think she'll be an alto in a few years since women's voices get deeper with age. Adele is currently in her prime vocally.

I always put Adele up there with Amy Winehouse. They both have such a beautiful, unique style that is just so brilliant. I’d love to see you react to some old Amy videos at some point!

Hmm. Interesting comparison. I find their voices to be quite different. But they both hold nothing back and are completely open emotionally. If that's what you think, I agree with you.

I love how Adele has surged in popularity lately. Like just yesterday I saw a video where someone at her concert of 95,000 people fainted or something and she stopped the entire show to get that person some help. Of course, that's because of the whole thing going on with Travis Scott, but still. She's also lost a lot of weight and yet somehow has managed to be an absolute goddess at any weight. Absolutely love her! 😍😍😍

I know I’ve said this before, but I’m gonna say it over and over: you have a phenomenal voice. So many KZread “vocal coaches” can’t sing their way out of a paper bag. You have effortless control, a gorgeous timbre, exceptional vocal placement, and a beautiful vibrato. I listen to a LOT of reaction videos, but you have, by far, the most beautiful singing voice, and that means a lot.

Amazing FACTOID: Adele was the first solo artist at the Grammys to win ‘Song of the Year’, ‘Record of the Year’ and ‘Album of the Year’-TWICE. In 2011, it was ‘Rolling in the Deep’ and ‘21’; and in 2015, it was ‘Hello’ and ‘25’!

As you mentioned her songs have such powerful stories. They remind me of Reba McEntire and how her videos are mini-movies too. It was great seeing Adele flex her acting chops on SNL.

I love Adele also, but have you never heard of Karen Carpenter. She was the most popular alto of the 70s.

Adele can tell a story with a song and really capture you with her beautiful voice. There are times when I'll tear up just hearing her voice. I'm a pretty cynical person and there are very few that can affect me in the way she does. She's not just a great vocalist, she's a great musician and artist.

One of the greatest things about Adele that I love about her, is that how strong, rich, and control(?)her vocal talent is. I'm an alto myself but I never felt any pride in being one; Adele changes that. Hannah I love your reactions; I loved how you mentioned how Adele had that growl in that one part of the song, so I was wondering how hard would it be for a singer (both beginner and of Adele's caliber/you yourself included) to pull that off without any problems later down the road
