I do the same thing!! I remember when I was 20yrs old, me and the guy I dated for six years spit, and I listened to sad sappy music that would make me do the ole ugly cry.😩😭 My brother came over because he knew how heartbroken I was, and when he got my car, I was playing my Lionel Richie CD.😭😭😭 He said, “Why the hell are you torturing yourself like that because it's only making you cry even more”. Lol😂😂😂 I did it anyway though!!🙈

Fair play to Adele's ex . He could have gone public and made a mint out of being her muse, especially in this famous for being famous day and age but still, to this day, No one knows who this guy is. He's just quietly living his life. There must be a lot of respect there.

This morning while we were having breakfast i told him that I feel sad that lately we've been arguing alot and he said he's starting to feel like he wants more to be at work than to stay with me..it broke my heart..made me realize that I am losing his love ..I hope he would think back of those times when we first met and all the struggles we've been through just to be together before he gives up on us..

My very favorite thing about an Adele performance is that no one utters a peep during the performance. Everyone just wants to LISTEN! This is the very reason I stopped going to live concerts many years ago, so many people have no respect for others in the crowd that paid to be there as well. This woman gives me goosebumps in the best possible way.

This song is so powerful it brings out the non existent memory of a heart break in my brain and makes me tear up

I never really understood how anyone's heart could be broken so badly until mine was. These lyrics hit hard. Not all scars are visible. I hope to see you sometime in the future, Rithi. :)

you're the best Adele.. everytime I listen to ur songs it goes deep down my heart and soul.. you always sing with ur heart... so beautiful.. Nothing to compare. amazing voice..

Some songs (this one especially) just stay with you... for years and years and years. This one speaks to me so deeply, at the end of my 50s looking back at 'things' that have happened and still sorting some things out. Still brings tears to my eyes. The gift of this incredible song and Adele's performance will be treasured for many more years to come. Thanks Adele!

+desert3347 I just happened to catch just maybe 30 seconds of this woman in a black & white video singing a piece of "Hello." And NO...I'd never heard of her before but once I heard that voice, I knew I'd never stop wanting to hear more of it so I went out & got her other 2 CD's & have been basking in her voice since. I love her voice, am mesmerized by the way she moves her hands so expressively & am totally blown away at how much she loves her fans & cares about them. She actually stopped in the middle of a show because someone fainted & wouldn't continue until she knew medics got to the person.

I don't know why...when I listen to Adele's song...I feel very relaxing and start to cry ..her voice is amazing....she is the best...most of the singers make videos and post...if u will not watch the video u will not enjoy the song but Adele has an amazing quality of making songs... with video her songs look great but without video too her songs are great and the best

I particularly like the timing on the "the reason you loved me" passage in the chorus; the Me is on the 4 of the beat, but they played it brought forward as if it´s on the 1 of the next bar, which gives this little floating moment where you expect the snare hit, but it prolongs and comes later.
