this was so helpful, thank you!! I was just wondering, if I mention that my weakness is my inability to warm up to people quickly in new social situations, won't that seem as if I have bad communication skills or that I don't have good people skills?

No, not at all. Accepting your weakness isn't a allibi for not possessing other compensating strengths. You must focus on saying the truth and how you cope with it. For example, I am awkward around new people too, so I always tag along with a friend or bring food to the potluck because I know I can make a conversation over food always.

It needn't be dental related. In fact, the most differentiated answers are the ones that aren't dental related
