Addressing a dog’s behavior on walks is an important facet to a healthy relationship with them overall. Instead of allowing pushy or impulsive choices, we teach dogs to simply follow calmly. Having fewer choices and more rules actually reduces stress and helps build their confidence! They can trust us to hold them accountable for their actions while also advocating for their needs. All of the structure that we practice throughout the day can help dogs become more enjoyable walking buddies.
