I still hate how Addison is just completely out of the picture. I was always hoping she would come for the birth. Or Dereks funeral. Heck I would be happy if Amelia would just mention Addison once in a while.

Addison came into her life when she was a kid and needed a big sister that would accept her no matter what she done and took her under her wing they could talk about everything , unlike her real sisters that are degrading snobs to her.

Addison and Amelia were more sisters than Meredith and Amelia. And I know Meredith and Amelia were amazing sisters with Maggie but Addie and Amy were better sisters.

Agree. I think Maggie and Amelia and Addison and Amelia are much stronger sister pairings on their own. And then of course Meredith and Cristina. Funnily enough I think it's the sisters who are not actually biologically related that are strongest together.

Agree. Addison was with Amelia through all of her problems with drugs and alcohol, and she was there for Amelia when she lost her baby her almost-husband, and Mark, she stayed with her and in her side always, and she did everything to help her

Well yeah, I mean Meredith and Amelia were “forced” to be sisters because of their link to Derek. Meredith treated Amelia like shit after Derek’s death, she only became her “sister” because she felt obligated to. Addison and Amelia are genuinely sisters, it’s not out of obligation. Addison loves her.

@@sxxxxxlxxx merideth was grieving the loss of her husband , Amelia was showing out and blaming merideth for Derek dying and it was not merideths fault Derek died , so merideth didn’t on purpose treat Amelia like crap , she tried several times while Derek was alive to get close and had formed a bond with Amelia but then Amelia started back using the drugs and drinking and merideth was grieving and didn’t see the signs of Amelia going off the rails again , Addison knew when Amelia was going off the rails because she had been with her and seen it before . So it took mer and Amelia a while to get there but merideth is a good sister to Amelia also, merideth never had a family and a mother that was not a mom to her so she closed her self off and couldn’t let anyone in for fear of being hurt and left again but Derek showed her love and Alex and Christina they became her family and she learned to let people in to her life .

they are so underrated as a friendship. i literally love them

I relate so spiritually to Amelia. I went through addiction (with food, alcohol, and above all, familiar pain), and I now know what it’s like to have someone love you unconditionally like a sibling to share the pain by your side, and I know what it’s like to battle through it. My now brothers are my anchors. She is so loved because her storyline is one of the most relatable in all of tv (and life).

Addison and Derek were married for ELEVEN YEARS. Chronologically, Addison and Mark met Amelia before Mer, Derek, Bailey, George, Izzie, Alex and Cristina ever met each other. "Private Practice" focused on Addison once she left Grey's at the end of season 3, and Amelia actually STARTED her role in the "Private Practice" universe, where we actually see her go through her addiction, a boyfriend (or was he a fiance? can't remember) OD in her bed, became pregnant and had to carry her baby to term only to die, and a few other lovers. Both Addison and Amelia visited Grey's several times during "Private Practice" original run, but once the spin-off was over, Amelia moved to "Grey's Anatomy". Once Cristina left, she and Maggie became Mer's sisterhood.

I really loved Addison & Amelia's relationship together. They just click with each other! They were the true sisters. Not maggie and Meredith but addie & Amelia were the real sisters. they loved each other so much. And always had each others backs even tho Addison divorced Derek Amelia still loved Addison! That was never going to change. thank God because Amelia knew Derek resented her for her drug abuse. But Derek really didn't understand addiction. Amelia couldn't control it. The addiction controlled her!! And I'm speaking from experience. I'm a recovering addict 2 years sober almost 3 years sober! So I understand how awful addiction can be. Amelia just needed support from her family. A little understanding that's all she needed. And Addison was that support person! She was always there for her. that's true friendship and sisters. ♥️

i miss so much them together, amelia's only real sister (along with maggie). I wanted addison to know how amelia's life is now, she would be so happy and proud of her, i love them so much! ❤

What? Maggie and Amelia are very close, and may be as close as sisters. But Maggie and Amelia aren't related in any way. Amelia has 3 biological sisters. Maggie is Amelia's sister-in-law's half sister.

Any fan who has not seen Private Practice has really missed a lot. This show is about Addison's life once she left Greys. This is the show where fans were introduced to Amelia. Private Practice is one of my all-time favorite shows. I show the show when it originally aired.

October 24, 2021 If Amelia ever does relapse in season 18, Link would take Scout, considering he already has Scout half of the time anyway. Most of us think Link and Jo will at some point will become a couple raising Scout and Luna together.

The show lasted for 6 seasons. After the shows finale, Amelia came to Greys. Private Practice is STILL one of my favorite shows. It is currently streaming on #Netflix

@@AdrianaYllanes Todo transcurre en el mismo universo de grey's. Solo que Private Practice sigue a Addison desde que trabaja en la Clínica de Los Angeles. Por eso podemos ver conexiones entre grey's anatomy y private practice e incluso también tienen Spin-offs en Station 19 y Grey's Anatomy: B-Team.

En private se ve más la parte del pasado de ella, ese bebé que perdió, la adicción. Y Addison es la cuñada. Son ls mismas historias que se continúan. Ambas aparecieron en Greys a través de Derek como la hermana de el y la ex esposa y de ahí se desarrollan sus personajes en Greys. Pero sus historias nacen en private. La infertilidad de Addison por ej se sabe que no pudo tener hijos con Derek pero es en private que se muestra como transita la infertilidad...

Sam was Addison's boyfriend at the time and Derek was Addison's Ex-husband and Amelia's brother. From the sound of it you have never watched #PrivatePractice, which this video is about. It is Addison's spin-off show, once she left #GreysAnatomy. Private Practice is currently streaming on #Netflix. You sound confused about the characters. If you would watch Greys Anatomy from season 1 to the current season and Private Practice which has 6 seasons it would answer the questions you have.
