Yeah so true, you can barely see it. Reduced evaporation and it also protects against any sudden escape attempts.

A really beautiful aquarium. Some cryptocoryne species would add some different textures and colors to the aquascape. They come from fast-flowing streams and rivers as well. Can't wait to see the fish enjoying this aquarium.

Thanks for watching and the comment. Actually I did add some Cryptocoryne wendtii green (you can see them better in my build video of this aquarium). So far they have been growing nice.

S vremenom haha, izdrzao je cak punih 10 dana. Ja mislim da je problem jer LEDica na samo 7cm od pleksija. Nekako sam i sumnjao, ali eto morao sam probat. Nabavit cu stakleni poklopac.

I was looking for some fresh hillstream aquarium content on KZread and came across your build video. Awesome job with the scape🙌can’t wait to rescape my tank and do hillstream. For stocking, if you can get your hands on Gold Desert Gobies, they would make an great addition to the tank and they breed in full freshwater! So you could maybe get baby gobies from them😄Psuedomugil luminatus would be great choice for mid-water fish or dwarf rainbows. Anyway, great vid and I’ll be following along in the series!

Thanks for suggestions. Its extremely hard getting any fish where I live at. I have more or less an idea what to stock it with now i just need to get my hands on the fish.

If you are in Florida you are lucky. I was in Miami many times and I kove it. I don't even have a shop around me that I can go to and chose fish. So its a miracle I do get any fish at all. And of course when you get fish like that price jumps up double (triple). But I will not complain as long as I can get my hands on all the fish I want for this aquarium.

@@IMaqua you know, sometimes simple is better with hillstream tanks. I had a school of white cloud minnows and a few hillstream loaches in my first hillstream scape, and I loved it. Even for me in Florida, many hillstream species are expensive, so I could only imagine what it’s like for you. I guess you just have to be thankful for what you can get.

The problem is getting even the simple things. But I have already started to source the fish and I hope in 2-3 months I will have all. Actually it is better that way because I can introduce them slowly.

Excuse the language but that looks shit hot! (Aussie slang for spectacular, brilliant etc) cracking tank and scape. Can I ask why you didn’t cut back the Val to prevent melt? Great content Regards Duzzy🇦🇺

If I remember correctly because this was almost two years ago all the Vallisneria melted because of the fact it spent 3 days in shipping during summer when it was 40C. I had to buy a new batch later on when the temperatures dropped and that one did much better.

Relaxing! Where did you get the acrylics and the clips for the lid ?

As far as I remember it was from Amazon or Ebay. Just search for "Lid Clips for Rimless Aquariums".

Gorgeous scape! What is the exact brand of lighting used for the scape ? I googled but can't pinpoint exactly.

Pa evo ovo je prvi akvarij na kojem ih "testiram". Al uzeo sam uz ovo od 120cm jos 4 komada od 90cm. Za sada su super. Super aplikacija, mozes sve nariktat u postocima, itd. Sta mi se posebno svidja je mogucnost da se nakrive tj. "tilt" a to nisam vidio kod puno akvarijske rasvjete. Super je jer sam zaokrenuo nekih 10-15 stupnjeva prema zadnjem djelu akvarija lezim na kaucu i ne tuce mi u oci. Sada sta se tice kakvo je za bilje, u ovom akvariju nemam nista zahtjevnog bilja, ne planiram koristit CO2, tako da mi nista bolje ne treba.
