Thank you! I needed this because I was looking to add a whole note to a measure that was already filled with other notes. Using a second voice is the way to do it!
Oh thanks very much this is what I was struggling with!
Thank you soooo much!! Ahh! XD I struggled so much with this and finally I found someone who can help me! I appreciate it a lot!
The only thing this video is missing, Dave, is a mic drop at the end. So very helpful!
Thank you so much this helped me a lot
Thank you so much!!!!!!!! You've saved me a lot of time... My assignment is due tomorrow XD
how to make simple same beam for two different voices? i write the first voices, and after that, i write the second voices. but the problems is there is 2 "same beam" but the program makes it like two-beam because of its different voices.
Thank you so much!
Excellent! Clear and concise, thanks!

Thanks James!
thanks!
And to do the opposite? In order to have Soprano1 and Soprano2 in a different part to Export?
Thanks bro!
Great. Thank You. How to back to one voice if change my mind?😊
If I have two violins in two different Staff, How can I paste in Only One Staff With Violin 1 in Voice 1 and Volin 2 in Voice 2??
This is supremely helpful. Much thanks to you!
How to do it is shown halfway through.
what I still haven't figured out yet is, what if you don't want a voice on beat 1? I have a rest on beat 1 and a 2nd voice on beat 2, but I'm forced to write another rest under beat one anyway, can I delete that rest?

bandgeek89 yes, if the rest is in voice two, theee, or four. Just click on the rest and press delete.
Thanks Dave. I have the opposite problem...I have an upper voice (just lots of rests) on my bass clef stave that I want to remove. Do you have any suggestions how to delete the part / rests please but still keep the lower voice on my bass clef?

Honestly, this software IS BORDERLINE MASOCHISTIC and you spend a lot of time missing important steps. There, it's my rant of the day, but hey, it's free..... So, here's the digest for this crap: 1) Hit Esc from anywhere and click on first note on the measure you want to add 2nd voice; (this tells Musescore to enter notes on that place) 2) Hit "N"; to put MS in "note entering mode"; 3) Click "2" - to activate "voice 2" - Entered notes now will be considered voice 2. 4) enter the notes now.... If you need to enter a 3rd or 4th voice repeat from 1) The voices are entered in order, so you cannot start on 3 then 1: if there is nothing on that measure, then the fist note is ALWAYS voice 1.
