This a bit more advanced then what im falimiar with but it would be nice to install some tweeters. Need some more subs now that the sound is too loud.

You put the plugs in backwards you can also use baby gerber caps ,just paint should slip over.

There's no right or wrong way to put them my guy. They're not oriented. I put them this way on purpose to hide the lips on them. This is how I wanted them.

If I put them the other way you would be able to see the rest of the screw and thats a big no no for me.

What part of cali? Im in So cal and i wanna install some speakers on my 68 but im not sure where to start

I’m a bit aways from SoCal. In my opinion you should start by figuring out where you want to mount the speakers. Google is a great place for inspiration. From there you can easily figure out what size fits there and how many and so on and so forth

Wired them directly to the headunit. There’s no amp for these 6 1/2

JB weld would of hold up or freeze plug sealer .

Don't mean to sound like a know-all, but that fan belt is looking kind of loose, and they've been known to come off and tear fuel lines, causing the car to burn down.
