Hou might miss those heater boxes someday on a cold morning...Sheeesh! 😉 I have the same exhaust. It's the best option for a stock or near stock engine when you want to keep the exhaust coming through the apron holes. Sounds pretty similar to stock, minus the chirping of the original exhaust tips. Make sure you cover the opening from the fan shroud if you really choose to stay without heat... Sheeesh!

Nah. I plugged up the dash holes so there’s no more breeze on the inside. Even on a cold Cali morning it’s no big deal I’ll continue to daily this car. And thanks for the tip. I ended up getting a closed off engine tin so there’s no air getting in or out.

Not sure on the sizing bro. But they are a stock size replacement. They are the empi J tubes that JBugs sells on their website.

You either have an exhaust leak or you need a valve adjustment.. Also.. I have the same exhaust but in the tips are baffles.. I took mine out and its completelya different exhaust 😲👍👍👍

@@tuned_tunas def metal exh gaskets.. If you look inside the tips, theres a baffle in there.. I just took a long flat head and a hammer and you bust loose the little spot weld inside then grab some pliers and yank those bad boys out.. I fitted one of these GT exhausts a long time ago... It rusted out in a month.. Was terrible.. Hopefully yours is better.

Tuned Tunas you could wrap it with exhaust tape and spray a higher temp heat paint

Unbolt that steering wheel n turn it a few splines over..❤

I didn’t have any issues. Nor do I see a problem with it. All the tip did was change the sound

Floating numberplate , thats sick, whoever came up with that had a lot of time on their hands but hey its all good in the hood❤ Whover created plastic chrome nuts should be taken out...and I dont mean for lunch.😊

Floating plate is held on by two zip ties. Took me 10sec to mount it up

Sheesh man sheesh! How long did it take that black paint to bun off? 15 minutes or less im guessing. Im not a fan of the yellow inside the pipes. Easy fix though

It literally started smoking the second we started. Its no longer yellow. Turned that signature VW pitch black
