Addicted to Bass - Feel Alive

Спорт

"Hello My name is Joel and I'm addicted to Bass". That's the confession of Joel Squires and he takes us to the Devon coast to show us why.
He starts with surface fishing using hard lures as the sea starts to roll out and then using the tidal flow he bumps some weedless jig heads around in the current as he speaks about his passion.

Definitely agree with you about letting fish go and not being to greedy. Been trying to fish long time now and often I let them go for someone else to experience that rush I had

Hey Joe. That was a great video and really informative. I am new to this having only started two years ago with an eight foot spinning rod and up to thirty gram lures. Think my partner only bought them to keep me out of his hair whilst he bait fished! Where is this place? I live in the Midlands and every coast is a trek so would like to know some good areas so we don't waste the whole weekend looking! I've never used surface lures so want to give that a go too. Caught sixty four fish in Cornwall in September and that has spurred me on! Partner? He got five, by the way!😊😊😊

***** some people just have different ways and taught to fish different.loads of anglers like us that fish this way and like to return fish.nothing wrong with taking a legal size fish to the table, some of us just go fishing for that adrenaline rush and would rather respect the quarry.

***** haha im not saying u dont respect the sport at all,and like i said in the previous comment there is NOTHING WRONG with taking a fish for the table, personally i dont and thats for a few reasons.1 i dont really eat fish,2 i cant be bothered with the gutts and 3 i go fishing for the adrenaline rush and nothing more,so if i was to kill a fish for no good reason, wouldnt that be a waste?? So lets not make an argument by changing the subject.palmer3977 is only saying he's views and i dont really see the problem with what he has said.so lets not call each other PC types because u dont really know me and i dont know you. Tight lines

On my first year spinning i catch a 3 kg Labrax. I try to absorve a lot of fishing information. The Internet help me but it was luck too . I also miss that train fish but in my case it was bad technique It was definetely bigger than the 3 kg i catch, much bigger. I try to hang him on the strong of the wave when the sea make the return to the back. I dont no the Word in English. That train easely broke the monofilament with is weight with the help of the sea returning back. What i learn. I should have open the reel. Next wave Will put him on my feets. So i know that happy sad feeling 👍

Im a sea bass fisher too. Fish above 40 cm i take home. You cannot find better and fresher and healthier sea bass than them you catch yourself. The fish at the market is always from 'pools' and those cathced with fisherboats strugle for hours in the nets, cause psycho problems and pain to the fish. Thats bad and the fish tastes less good.
