@@sanchezson hi, you need to unzip the downloaded folder of social stream then open the chrome Press the 3 dots Extensions Manage extensions Top right corner enable the Developer mode Then press load unpacked & then select the folder which you unzipped it.

Hi Michael, thanks for this video, it already helps. But here is my follow-up question: I want to stream games on KZread and can't tab out every time I want to put a (super)chat on screen (some games allow windowed fullscreen, some don't). What could be a solution? I have a 2 monitor setup, next to my phone I also have a tablet available. Is there any way I could use my tablet to organize the chat and put it on screen?

Which is the best laptop we can buy to do livestream?

Aaron parecki addon has been doing an easier system for years now. Chat overlay add on then pop out chat and create overlay url which you paste into a browser link in obs. Can use remotely if you have another obs operator and you are the presenter etc

I never tested it without it running but I would think you do.

It is a chrome extension that runs independently, so yes you would need to have chrome running. The developer also has a firefox version, but it is not as robost in features

​@@MichaelFeyrerJr Forgot to tell you .. if you have some chats that not appear in the dock due to pop out KZread window .. you have to go right to the top & change *TOP MESSAGES to LIVE CHAT* & that will bring all the messages back once again

I followed everything and I can get as far as having the chat pop out of my channel into obs but it doesnt show up on screen nor can i select for overlay. I'm not sure what I am missing or maybe there was an update?

I have an unusual question regarding chat overlays in stream. Here's the situation leading to the question. I recently had a viewer come into my chat and spam it (nothing out of the ordinary, it happens), however this particular troublemaker had a horrible username, and an obscene profile picture. Naturally, I took the appropriate steps and banned the user from the channel, thus removing their chat from view and then once the stream was over, I made sure to report them to KZread for community guideline violations. Now, my question is two fold. First, because I use an overlay that displays my chat on screen, the chat history is burned into the stream and preserved when the stream is saved as a VOD... I have a lot of filters in place as well as black-listed words, but because the viewer was using a "unicode" username, their "stylized" and horrible username was obviously not flagged by KZread... and second, is now preserved in my VOD. I have since decided to edit in a blur to remove the offending username... but my question is: Is there a way to filter usernames from appearing that use unicode? and if somehow a person has their chat recorded in their stream, and they aren't able to catch it, or miss it entirely, does KZread hold the content creator liable for the actions of their chat? Sorry, I hope that made sense. I'd love to get some feedback on this, as I am sure I am not alone in this happening.

Does this work for youtube and vr. Im trying to get my live chat into my headset so I can see it when I play and stream. I see people looming at their wrist in vr and seeing chat but idk how to do that.

Press Alt and then drag the side in. It basically crops the source down.

Hi Michael....I have set this up and as you've shown in your tutorial instructions here ... everything is as you say but I get a message on my Chrome Browser saying " Ninja is Debugging the source"...so I tried checking in chrome and debugging is not checked/active...I also reloaded the extension after deleting it...went back and made sure I had followed your steps....so there must be something im not aware of...figured I'd ask you....I have Windows 10 my laptop....I can send it a fake message on the click...and that shows up but..if I try to send a message it wont show up in OBS or on my laptop browser in chrome....I did a private live stream and doesn't show up.....any ideas?...thanks

Testing Without Going Live? Popping Out Live Chat reads "Sorry, live chat is currently unavailable." in both Chrome & Brave Browsers. How are you able to test without going live?

It does combine multiple chats into one. If you pop out a youtube and a twitch chat, they are bundled into one overlay with the channel icons next to the name. I don't see kick support yet. The developer is really attentive though and releases updates all the time, it would not surprise me if it is there soon.

He cropped the window is all. I forget exactly, but it's either holding SHIFT or CONTROL and click-hold to make that happen.

Love your videos but this is the definition of doing too much for a livestram speacilly when there are simpler ways

great but with the NEW twitch rules you cannot stream on other platform when you are on live on twitch....then.....this plugin is great but ....too late.. Now it's over, it's no longuer tolerated now on twitch, btw it's cause of those reasons (and a lot of others) that a lot quit this platform.

Then don't stream to Twitch m8 it's simple and it's Twitch's loss. Personally I use Re-stream and stream to Kick & KZread at the same time.

This is a theory but it seems restream is kind of detected by this platform and reduce the number of views and they don't put your stream in good state to be viewed. I tested many things and it seems I am right on this one. Especially with Facebook ^^
