    That's one way to look at it... or you could look at the reality of who that creep really is: he took a minor across state lines to have sex with her (by his own admission) and destroyed the lives of millions of people through the Nazi-inspired law he pushed to have passed in his son's name. I guess it depends on which cup of Kool-aid you choose to drink.

    Mr Walsh stated himself the police did not treat him or this case seriously in the beginning. Ironically Mr Walsh is being asked by law enforcement to help them with cases for over 35 years.

    There was a park I would walk through every day to get to a bus. It was within 500 meters of my home/only way to get to the stop without walking many km out of my way. One weekend, a 17yo girl was stabbed to death there. I still had to walk through that park, it looked the same. You would never think some child’s life had been taken so violently. It never felt the same. Such sadness. But I know most people would see that park the way people see that roadway. No one would suspect anything unless they knew the story.

    That's true. I was at a Barnes N Noble several years ago with my boyfriend and teenaged children. We had all separated and were looking at books of our own interest when a "Code Adam" was called. Knowing what that was I immediately began looking for the child they described over the intercom, along with the staff. He was found safe and unharmed, TJTM, However, my boyfriend and my 2 pre-teens had no idea what was going on. Now they know, so if they hear that announcement they know to begin looking quickly.

    @@bsoz9759 yes this was the case at Kroger Company as well. We had certain trained Staff members who would respond to a Code Adam. Even some customers knew what a Code Adam was and helped looking out for lost misplaced children. Adam Walsh is flying high with the Angels. John Walsh has done so much to help keep children safe and John dedicated his life to put away these monsters that done horrible crimes against children and families. While it was terribly sad that Adam was murdered but it was the start to help many future children to get the Justice they so deserve! ⚖ John Walsh is definitely a National Hero!!! He has brought something so positive from Adams death and I am sure that Code Adam will stay with us for many years to come. My family lives in Vero Beach, Florida. Not too far from where his head was found. My family is good friends with John and Reve Walsh. My father actually use to babysit Adam back when he was still alive. This story traumatized me as a child hearing about it due to my family being friends with their family. It’s crazy to think that I know them and have been to their home in Florida and know his other kids Meghan, Callahan and Hayden. Awesome family and what John created after this happened has helped find so many more children and brought together an amazing system for missing persons. I feel blessed to know John. The memory of Adam will always be alive within my family, theirs and many others. God bless you all and keep a close look on your loved ones. ALSO READ THE BOOK - TEARS OF RAGE by John Walsh himself. Every little detail about what happened is in this book and even a written letter to John from Otis Otoole (murderer) Some parts of the letter are horrific but a must read!

    @George Westinghouse Do you have access to a photo of the child to examine? If you do I would like to explain why I feel that Adam was murdered by someone he knew. Everyone has a larger and smaller side to their face and torso. Normally all the features ( hands, eyes, feet,etc) match in size. In Jimmy's case the larger eye is located on the small side of his face,which is not the norm.In my research I have found that it indicates on victims of homicide that they didn't know who murdered them. Case in point Jimmy didn't know that man. Now with Adam, there was no difference in his features indicating he knew his killer. So unless he had met any of the suspects accused of his murder, then it would be impossible that anyone besides someone he knew to have murdered him. Tell me what you think after checking it out.

I took her to the service desk and told my manager that I saw her walking around by herself. The boss called on intercom about anyone looking for a child to come to the service desk. I found a book that someone wrote about Adam's disappearance and death called Finding Adam (I found it once at my local library and I haven't had the nerve to read it again). If what Toole said he did to Adam is true than that truly horrifies me, I like to brag that true crime stuff doesn't bother me but when I read what Toole claims he did to Adam I had to stop because I started to feel sick to the point where I was dry heaving and almost threw up two or three times. I did end up finishing the book but after that part I had to take constant breaks. And then there were pictures to go along with the story and one of them honestly looked like the bloody imprint of a little face crying out in pain on the floor of the car that Toole was driving that day. After I saw that picture I would break out into sobs at random points because the image would just pop up in my mind for three days straight.

    @@Iyasha2008 .. I never known about the book you are speaking about but I agree, Otis toole, Jeffrey dalmer at otis's former cell mate all involved with such crimes are totally evil. I wished police identified Otis as the killer earlier instead of his death bed confession as he deserved to face capitol punishment in Adams death. What I am shocked about and still questioning is how did Jeffrey dalmer know the location where Adams head was found to be spotted there? It was either a network between these sick killers in communication with each other or someone is lying since Jeffrey dalmers original arrest and people known Jeff's activities from the news and just said Jeff dalmer was seen there being fresh in everyones minds. My heart breaks for the Walsh family even today being Adams age, from Adams area where he was kidnapped and killed and now a young grandfather, I really can't imagine my kids or grandkids being in a parents worse nightmare. the only good thing that ever stemmed out of this mess is with John Walsh saving and fighting for children everywhere with his show. He was no doubt killed elsewhere and this part of his small body dumped in a ditch. As a mother I can tell you that I would not want a memorial to my child in such a place. I read his head was cremated and the ashes given to his parents. This story is beyond horrific and yes, people are interested in what happened. But an ugly ditch where a body part was found of a six year old child is not where a memorial should be placed. Just my opinion.

    @Kelly McDaniel , Dahmer admitted to being at that exact spot though. Out of miles and miles of highway, you just happen to be right there with a bucket. I know Dahmer confessed to his crimes but denied this but maybe he has a reason for denying this one.

  • @TheC0zz

    @Kelly McDaniel They found many severed heads in Dahmer's apartment. He even kept one in his locker at work at a chocolate factory. I've never heard nor have I verified that Dahmer was in fact at that drainage at same time the Adam was missing. But coincidence that he just happened to be there? The odds are astronomical. I just started looking into it and this blue van this guy mentioned Dahmer was driving in the video... One witness states a blue van was illegally parked outside Sears that day and they almost hit it with their vehicle, another witness states he saw someone throw a struggling kid inside that same blue van. This Otis guy is out of his mind and confessed and then denied being involved in hundreds of murders. He could never give an accurate location of Adams body and he has never been found to this day.

    I don't believe in coincidences. no one shows up to the same place three days early with a white bucket and drop something in the water. and then three days later a severed head is found. in the same exact place.

    Dahmer was only 19 or 20 at the time. He may have not yet established his routine. When he was asked if he had murdered Adam he was in prison. He said that child killers don't do well in prison. His denial may have been an act of survival. At the time of Adam's abduction, Dahmer worked as a delivery driver for a delicatessen. One of their vehicles was a blue van. I'm not real big on these types of coincidences. Too bad there's not enough evidence to test for DNA today. I don't think we'll ever really know the truth for certain...

  • @positively_broad_st3780

    @positively_broad_st3780

    Also, when Dahmer was arrested and made national news for his crimes in Wisconsin, a couple of witnesses from the Hollywood Mall parking lot immediately and independently recognized Dahmer as the man they saw driving the blue van and talking to a small boy outside of Sears. The Walsh's certainly know more about the investigation than anyone outside of law enforcement and they find comfort in believing that crazy Otis did it, but the witnesses were sincere, decent, regular people. Between them immediately and separately recognizing Dahmer years later without provocation, and Dahmer being at the location of the site of the remains, I think it's fair to doubt the official findings of an investigation...

I lived within walking distance of the same mall Adam was taken from and I shopped there with my daughter many times. The story of Adam hits very close to home for me because my little girl was the same age, went to the same school and was in same class as Adam, so this was extremely chilling to me. I was born the same year as Adam. When I was 10-11 I took risk by not coming home before sun down and I would take long walks by myself in dark roads from the mall. Men in cars would stop and offer me a ride and I would turn it down. There's one particular white guy in his 20's who offered a ride and then came back 5 minutes later and insisted giving me a ride but I declined. Looking back, that was very risky that is why I will make sure my kids don't do what I did when I was a young boy. I could have ended up like him if I wasn't so persistent in saying no I don't need a ride and I was ready to run if they got out the car. Adam could have been a husband and father himself. Its crazy thinking about it. Talk about wrong place at the wrong time.

A blue car pulled up and a white man said that my mother was in the hospital and he was there to pick me up I asked him what was the password ( My parents set up passwords for me and my sister we use if someone other than them were picking us up) the man said “No time to play secret agent kid” I then said again what’s the password and he got angry and said get in I ran back towards the school screaming and two teachers who were on bus duty saw me and came to me and took me to the principal’s office and the principal called the police. The man was gone before police arrived and after that police officers were stage in the area before and after school.

    @@americanoutdoorsman_1133 Wow. I once read a story of a kidnapper/killer knowing the password because the father was friends with him and told him drunk in a bar. The result was his child getting killed by a pedofile. People reading this, never tell the passwords to anyone, not even a family friend! I am glad you asked this guy about the password and only your parents knew it. It's important to give kids that safety measure that only the parent and kid know. I almost became a casualty later in life at 14. My uncle told my mom he would pick me up from my friends. He was visiting us. My mom thought nothing of it. I came outside from my friends and thought great, I'm hungry and can hardly wait to get home so mom can make me a sandwich. He drove and asked if I want to practice. I said sure! We switched places and I drove and then he said, we need to switch again because I don't want your mom to see your driving. I said okay. When I hopped back into the passenger side, he pulled a knife out on me and told me in a screaming tone to take my clothes off. I was shocked! I pretended with my left hand I was going to and with my right hand I unlocked the door and jumped out. He sped away and a man from a business ran over to me and said are you okay. I told him to call the cops because he attempted to rape me. I went home, feeling upset and confused. I cried and my mom cried and held me while we waited for the cops. They never got him because he fled to mexico. He died years later from a child he had sex with that was a prostitute over there. The irony of him getting tb. Well I went to that funeral and was going to spit on him. Turns out his daughter beat me to it. Any parent reading this, you never know who you trust to be around your kids, don't trust anyone because you really don't know how they act when not around you.
