#RebeccaSchaeffer #TrueCrime #Hollywood
Rebecca Schaeffer was an American actress and model. She began her career as a teen model before moving on to acting. In 1986, she landed a role on the CBS comedy My Sister Sam and appeared in several films including the black comedy SCENES FROM THE CLASS STRUGGLE IN BEVERLY HILLS.
At the age of 21, Rebecca Schaeffer was shot and killed by Robert John Bardo, a 19 year old obsessed fan who had been stalking her. Schaeffer's death helped lead to the passage in California of legislation aimed at preventing stalking.

The psycho killer is enjoying himself while recounting his killing of Rebecca, Very bizarre scene. The "detective" who gave Rebecca's home address to the killer, has her blood in his hands too. She made a terrible mistake coming outside to talk with that psychopath. It was horrific how he killed her, she was a total stranger, but he was obsessed with her. That man is pure evil and never should be in the streets again.

I remember reading somewhere that after Bardo was incarcerated, he wrote a letter at some point to Mark David Chapman and Chapman said Bardo’s letter was “one of the most disturbing he’d ever read” and he never wrote back. Bardo must be a special kind of crazy if he’s even making the guy who shot John Lennon nervous.

I remember this show and how sad it was when this happened. It’s so hard to believe that there was ever a time when getting the addresses of celebrities was so easy. I think I’ve read that other people actually advised Rebecca that she should live somewhere with better security, but I don’t think she saw herself as this huge star; she was down to earth in that way. Also, I’ve read that Pam Dauber was devastated by her death and never really got over it. The only bright spot in this whole thing is that her murderer won’t ever be able to hurt anyone else in this way.

As a former First Responder for 13 years in LA, deadly violence, road rage spikes between late June til early September in the USA/Canada, then again from early December to early January. Just check out statistics available online or your public library. Those 3 months stress out police, sheriffs, park rangers, ambulance units, fire departments worldwide, especially early December til early January. Thanks for asking that Sandra.

This is the first video I have viewed from many that just left me deep in thought. Rebecca Schaeffer at the age of 21 in 1989. She was looking at a long spell of a career which we will now never know how it developed. Her murder just seemed to act out his crime as if it was a fantasy to him. This guy is just beyond believe. Sadly to say I was just 18/19 when her life was ended by a demented fan. This really saddens myself. R.I.P. Rebecca, may god bless your soul.

Crows show up to let you know that there are spiritual shifts happening around you and remind you to pay attention to the spiritual messages that are sent to guide you. Rebecca Schaeffer was a superstar in the making on television and it all ended at the hands of a bad man. Anyone alive back then remembers how popular Rebecca had become and was the darling of the sitcoms. It was unfortunate that she never got to see where her talent would take her but she did do a lot in the little time she had. Rest In Peace, Rebecca.

It took me a couple of days to watch this one, for personal reasons. I really enjoyed My Sister Sam back then. I started watching it because of Pam Dawber, from Mork and Mindy, but Rebecca was the reason I kept watching - she was pretty, talented, charismatic, funny, and very charming. When this happened, it was the first time I had experienced the murder of celebrity who captivated me, and it really affected me deeply. I was so pissed that this guy was not only able to gain access to her, but to be given vital information to track her down. Even now watching his confession some 30+ years later I feel angry that he committed such a heinous act and was helped along the way. She had such a bright future and this nutjob took it all away in seconds. RIP Rebecca.

Just this morning my lady and I were watching TV about Florida, spring break ... growing up everyone loved spring break. Looked forward to it etc..... NOW, ANIMALS run the show. Spring break has become a scum zoo animal sewer with a bunch of shootouts every night. I agree with you. Every time we turn on the news Animals killing, raping, destroying once beautiful neighborhoods. I live in a once great neighborhood. My lady and I sit outside enjoying the backyard for 9 years. All of a sudden. Animals start showing up, moving in like ants on food. Blasting garbage music so loud the police are called every weekend. Music we cant even understand what the f**k they are saying at all. Our Town now is ruined. No one can say anything about it. You are correct. 100% POINT OF NO RETURN. No one. No politician, political party, sports star, entertainer etc ... will change it. The ANIMALS HAVE 100% taken over with dirt, death and scum and our country is completely ruined.

I live on Houston and there has been SEVERAL murders due to private investigation firms giving out information. Now Investigation firms must allow for a "Cool down period" of 24 hours. In July 2002, the mother of two made headlines when she hit her 44-year-old husband David with her silver Mercedes-Benz and ran over him three times before stopping directly on top of his body. Clara had tracked her husband of 10 years and his mistress, Gail Bridges, to the Nassau Bay Hilton. She then ran him over outside the hotel. David’s daughter from a previous marriage, Lindsey Nicole Harris, who was in the car at the time of the killing, testified against her stepmother in the trial. In court proceedings, it was revealed that David had admitted to his affair even before Clara received a telephone tip that he and Bridges would be meeting that night at the hotel. On the day of David’s death, Clara hired the private investigative firm, Blue Moon Investigations, to follow her husband. Blue Moon surveillance crew captured David’s murder on videotape, which was used as evidence. I got married at that exact Hilton a few days before. INSANITY.
