About Miura Golf
The Miura story is one of family, passion, and precision. It’s one focused on the power of touch and a belief in meticulous attention to detail. It’s one grounded by an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of perfection.
It begins in Himeiji, Japan, with the art and discipline of samurai and ends with the finest hand-crafted golf clubs known to man. Our founder, Katsuhiro Miura, set out to make something elegant and refined, to create something beautiful, with the highest degree of integrity, something that isn’t done in the golf industry.
His patience and unique forging process ensures the grain of the steel is fine and uniformed, leading to a feel unlike anything else. The Miura feel. Every club is hand-crafted, one-by-one, and touched by Miura-San or one of his two sons, Shinei and Yoshitaka.

Eric, there’s no difference between what Miura does here and what you do in carpentry. Both are a skill of absolute precision that take years of hard work and dedication to master. When viewing the finished product of a Miura iron or a newly constructed skirting or a bookshelf that’s to be the focal point of a living room; they are both awe inspiring. The fact that you “take pride in your craft” is not something that’s noticed only by you…. Think about this, the finishing woodwork that you fabricate and install, will in many occasions, be part of a home long after we are all dead and gone. Family after family, decade after decade, people will admire what you’ve done. Finishing carpentry is THE one thing turns a regular house, into the place that a family calls home. The only thing that would make your skill-set more amazing would be to pass it along to your children, so that they may one day, have the talent to leave this world a little more beautiful than they found it. Walk into a home that was built in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. The FIRST thing that anyone will comment on, and take time to admire is the woodwork. We all love it and very few know how to create its beauty. You’ve got a talent that I could only dream of. I’m proud of you, sir.

That bit where he was talking about family, Miura and his sons, his father their experience together in golf, club making etc. while he was grinding that club head. His dad there with him. Everything his dad would have hoped for him, everything he would have hoped for to make his father proud. This experience for them together it must be incredibly special. I'm born a day after Adam Scott, from pretty much the exact same part of Australia. My children are half Japanese..the respect I have for the Japanese, the romance of this whole golf nirvana situation going on there. The whole father and sons dynamic everyone understands that and this particular situation all feels particularly relateable for me. When Miura put his hands on Scott's shoulders..few little tears rolled down my cheeks

Absolutely beautiful. Miura-San is so dignified and his work is so personal, it’s really impressive on a human scale and also, frankly, spiritual. I would love to see Adam bring a K-wedge out on tour. I’m a little surprised that he’s still playing Vokey wedges. You go into this environment and see the care that’s put into these irons, I can’t imagine not adding the wedges to the bag, as well. Considering the willingness of Miura to listen to Adam and give him what HE wants, I’d be thinking about having Miura design and build a putter. I know he’s played Scotty Cameron forever, but honestly, Adam has never been regarded as a great putter, especially when the anchored putter was banned.
