Adam Scott at the 2021 Masters | What's in the Bag
THE FAIRGAME APP - NOW AVAILABLE: www.fairgamegolf.com/the-app
In this episode, we go through the choices behind putting these specific clubs in the bag to play the Masters. Adam tells us why he’s using bladed irons from almost 20 years ago, why he likes the new Titliest TSi driver so much more than the TS driver, and why he’ll be playing a 7-wood this week. This one is for the gear-heads.

Gotta hand it to the interviewer. Didn't interrupt Adam at all, just asked a couple questions and let Adam talk, but still made sure to ask about the finer details of his equipment. Great work.

Benjamin Clymer is the founder of Hondinkee - a leading online watch magazine. He also hosts 'Talking Watches' with various celebrities and is very similar to this. Worth a watch if you're into watches.

Because he probably does not know much about golf. You should see him talking watches, he is a master in watches.

He is a model pro golfer. One of my favorites. Such a nice guy too.
Hey Adam, still have a Set of 20 Year old 680s in my basement. Just in case you need a another backup. Sweetspots never seen to many contacts....

I use 680's. I don't think I can ever give them up
I could listen to AS all day talk about his bag. This is great content
This interviewer was really good. Really said natural things asked the questions that I would want to hear and got out of the way.
Adam is a true pro. What you see is what you get. It’s easy to cheer for him.

Except his putter. Should not be legal. It’s a device for players who can’t putt at a pro level, like those quirky game improvement clubs, “mr chipper” and the like. Plus it looks completely stupid as all hell. I hope he relearns how to putt, and gets rid of that handicapper device…
Adam’s swing is just textbook perfection

Has had the putting yips forever though, feel bad for the guy, as he has all the talent in the world
What an absolute nice guy. Enjoyed his playing for such a long time and looking forward for more. I really appreciated the video!
Longtime fan, Adam, and thank you for starting this podcast! Great to hear your perspective on the game, equipment, etc.
Excellent interview as always Ben. Looking forward to more golf content from you.
What a great build this guy has, he must have a good workout schedule. Such a class act, none of the snarky, sarcastic attitude, frequently found with others. Reminds me of Ernie Els, honest, friendly, smart, with a great sense of humor.
Nice to see you back Ben !! Great video and nice watches !!
My favourite person in golf. What a legend.
"We're pretty particular with how precise we 'think' we are." Love it. Keeping it real.
One of the best whats in the bags ive seen.
One of the must humble guys on the tour..great interview btw.
Is that a white gold ceramic pepsi i see? And Ben coming in with an epic black dial Day-Date in white gold on a beautiful Jubilee bracelet. My two favourite things, watches and golf. lol
This is the John Mayer talking watches of golf episode.

Best witb I’ve ever seen. Great job by Adam and the interviewer
My goodness that wear mark on the iron face... hahaha life goals
1:57 sums it up perfect. Great interview. I appreciate how Adam is able to breakdown why he prefers the 20 year old 680 irons over the current 620 MBs...offset.

Big contrast to some guys who haven’t a clue about their setup. Many times you see Tour Pro’s squinting to see what model they play or say “This was the shaft that got the best numbers”
I just wish his gorgeous swing will get him to a win again...soon....
"starting to wear a little on the face" .... perfect wear spot in dead center of club
Such a classy gentleman with one of the finest swings in golf.
My Ben Hogan apex irons are still my favorite irons to hit. There is nothing like hitting a blade dead nuts solid!!
So what Adam basically said is blades have changed fk all over the last 10+years/ 5+ models. Probably the same with all Golf clubs, LOL.
"Hit it to 8 ft... I missed that putt" Story of our lives.
Great interview!!
Adam flexing all the sweet spots on his clubs.
Super nice guy and absolutely classic golf swing. Smooth as silk.
If like to see him win more often. He’s what golfing is (should be) about...
This is the most vanilla set up of all time and I love it
Love this content!
Dictionary definition of a class golfer in every respect..
Really cool video. And check out the wear mark on the 7 wood face. Dead center
Maybe the only WITB on KZread that included stuff in other pockets. Very interesting.
So nice guy Adam. Nice interviewer too!

I used to live in Australia, on the Gold Coast where Adam is from. I'd often meet people who had met him or know him and every person says how nice he is.
I still play 670 MBs. Nothing beats those old 600 series irons.
thanks for just allowing him to talk
I just figured Titlest made fresh sets of irons for him.
Adam is a class act. i felt bad for the duck but it was awesome to see him win the Masters
Dude takes a new ball out after a particularly crisp wedge shot...nice
Is this Ben Clymer doing the interview?? He looks exactly like the Ben Clymer from Hodinkee “Talking Watches” with famous people like Jack Nicklaus, John Mayer, Fred Savage, etc...
Okay. Hodinkee now this. Automatic subscribe.
Notice how so many pros hit towards the toe of most clubs. I tend to prefer the heel and squeeze if out there for control.
Indulgent. Interesting. Surprising. Great film. Loved it. Nice watch, too. Yikes!
I have come back for a 3rd time to watch this. Because I’m doing some bag changing and needing to get new woods. Also heard from Korn Ferry guy that he thinks the TSi series is by far better and the best driver Titleist has made. Makes me want to upgrade from TS3 to everything new but dang it’s gunna run steep for Driver 3W and 7W

I'm surprised Adam is playing the TSi2 and not the 3. He's probably going for a bit more control and sacrificing a bit of distance.

I’m on my 3rd set of 710 mb’s. Everything about them is perfect. That’s what Adam used to win the masters.⛳️🧙♂️
Interesting to see Ben Clymer of Hodinkee hosting this channel.
Ben does it all! Wow
Hey Ben, Premier Guitar called, they need you to interview musicians on the equipment they use.
Those socks add more distance
I've had a GREG NORMAN 7 wood in my bag for 20 years. Bought several new sets in that time but I can't get rid of my 7 wood. Great out of the rough. Which I happen to find more that I'd like. 😂🤣😅
I thought his sponsor was the University of Queensland (his home state) and was shortened to UNI QLD
They should forge a new offset scott set of old style with modern make
"now lets talk about that watch you're wearing!!"
Funny he mentioned he likes a little offset in his irons. Reading some golf forums a lot of amateurs think offset is a sign of a real hack. Of course the offset he is talking about is pretty minor tho.
Titleist Forged Blades, best looking irons on the market closely followed by Mizunos Version 🤔. (In my opinion)

As a Mizzy and Titleist man I approve of this entirely. If I didn't play MP-4s I'd play a Titleist blade. Both brands are of incomparable quality.

iron shafts, wedge shafts, grip size, and taping specs. maybe next time
I'm think of myself as an intelligent person, Mr Scott, is the apiffiny of a Professional Golfer, First of all you see the shape this man is in, incredible ,he very knowledgeable about all his equipment, and I'm sure he could of gotten into a much more detailed explanation of why and what hes Gaming, an outstanding job by the Gentlemen on the what's in the bag, he asked specific questions and let Mr Scott answer and talk without throwing his two cents in, Thank you ,,great job! Adam Scott no doubt live his life like he does his Profession, What a Class act always, on and off the course! My opinion, I believe he might have the Greatest looking, and functional swing ever, big statement I know, but if you look at his swing it's Beautiful looking but the way it works is Absolutely perfect the takeaway, backswing and transition, and of course his Olympic Finish , no one does it better in my eyes, every Coach /Teacher Wants us to do what Adam Scott does! Anyway I'm a big Fan of Adam Scott and I'm watching the Presidents Cup this weekend and I hope he wins , because its really and individual sport ,that's what makes this sport so hard to play and great to follow! So Good luck On Sunday Adam Scott you deserve it all !!
Anyone know why Ben Clymer is interviewing a golf pro?
Isn’t this the watch guy from Hoodinke?
