I love how Wes plays the role of Amos perfectly, in the beginning I was a bit skeptical but now I am happy they chose Wes for the role. He is killing it on the show (also literally).

I did not know there were books. Amos is also started to become my favourite character. You just don't know where you or the other are with him. He is innocent and also a killer at same time. The other one I liked (Muller) they killed off. :-( Cara Gee as Drummer is cool but I don't think she'll be given a backstory unless the Dawes act's up big time. 'Bobbie' W. Draper just irritates me. She's supposed to be a hardass (I was initially comparing her with Ripley -Sorry Ripley) but comes off as a baby. She also seems to have baby fat, that does not seem good for a marine then again, small niggles.

So... He was reading the book, Amos was his favorite character, and then he got to play him on the show? That's incredible. I've never heard of anything like that happening before.

Wes seems like such a cool down to earth guy, and he completely nails the role of Amos. It's awesome that he was a fan of the books before the show was a thing.

Wes is killing it as Amos, got to be my favourite character of the show!

I cant believe how well Amos plays Wes in real life lol this guy is awesome. We need more like him.

I was so skeptical about Wes playing Amos but honestly now at this point I can't see anybody else playing him. I even see book Amos as Wes now.

Amos is awesome, he's probably the most, or one of the most, popular characters in the novels, and I am happy with Wes Chatham's portrayal of him, and even more happy to know he's a fan of the source material!

Best show right now! I love how the use the real moons and asteroids in the solar system.

I read Leviathan Wakes and Caliban's War before watching the Expanse, and I was never really sold on Amos as a character, I was always more focused on Miller and Holden and Julie than anyone else. Watching the show, I've really warmed to Wes's portrayal of the character, and I actually really enjoy reading about him in the books!

Wes seems like such a great guy. I'm loving the character he plays. The scene with him without a shirt, ugh! Beautiful!

Amos is probably the most dynamic and intriguing character in the series. We get but the briefest of descriptions regarding his childhood, but it's way more than enough to make Amos what he is. But unlike most severely damaged people he realizes what he's missing and finds people who.might fit the bill of a good person. His allowing the redemption of peaches is a great story and it's ending shows that Amos didn't quite snuff out all those pesky human emotions, and he processes the shit out of his grief in the best way Amos could. Fucking love this series

Wes is such a genuine dude. I had a totally different idea in my head of what Amos looked like and carried himself like reading the books, but now Wes is the perfect depiction of Amos in my mind.

I fell in love with his character. he's an amazing actor !

Amos is my favorite character and Wes must be my favorite person right know. So much chill and charisma. 😍 Same for Alex/Cas.

I never realised it before but I can't distinguish his voice from Matt Damons.

I caught the first season on demand and then watched second as it come on and it is great. I totally agree that this is the show to beat and all the actors are doing a great job with the material. I am reading the books so I am kind of spoiled but still enjoying watching them bring the characters to life.

Love the show. Highly commend the books as well. everyone should read them they go way deeper into the toons and their relationships They would help explain to some that have trouble withthe story

It wouldn't make his performance any less on-target if he really had no interest in science fiction - but the fact that he loved the novels and his character before even being called to audition is so satisfying.

Which episode was Adam in? IMDB doesn't specify the episode. I have watched all of the expanse and mythbusters, yet I somehow totally missed the cameo!!

There are a few TV-shows I really would see continue. And "The Expanse" definitely is one of them. I was sad when Babylon 5 finished, and they tried to make some sort of ending of it. But it didn't work out so well. I wish it would have continued, but that didn't happen. Now I wish "The Expanse" don't experience the same fate.

He talks to Adam like an old friend and then calls him Martin. That's hilarious.
