I do believe a sequel is a horrible idea and hopefully Sandler realizes that too.

It’s crazy that Chris McDonald is so good at playing the smarmy villainous role, yet he seems like the nicest guy for real.

Chris actually started off way back in Grease 2 with Michelle Pfeiffer in 1982. That's when I first saw him. Always liked him, seems like a good guy.

I love how Christopher McDonald did in this film, but I first heard of him when he was in "Flubber", which starred the late great Robin Williams. That's a pretty good film as well.

It's priceless with Happy Gilmore, cursing and Lee trevino, getting in shock.

I'd love it if Christopher McDonald and Adam Sandler had a game of golf for charity or reprised their roles in a skit as a one off.

It has been really great to have this movie, and these 2 , back in the news. Gives us a reason to smile.

Happy Gilmore is one of my favorite comedies!! I love it and it’s a timeless American comedy classic!!

Happy Gilmore 2 ABSOLUTELY needs to happen!

This sequel has big shoes to fill. Would be awesome if it happens.

Happy Gilmore gets injured, probably a hockey accident, is feeling sorry for himself cause he is injured in a way he can’t play hockey (as if he could) or golf… shooter McGavin shows up and coaches Adam (like Apollo Creed coaching Rocky) against some new villains….

Two legends. Christopher was great in Dirty Work as well.

You can do it!!!!!!

The Senior Tour, make it happen. Don't purely play off nostalgia, create an original/organic reason with the plot. Keep it simple with everything, one or two cameos max and don't repeat the same concepts. Show vulnerability with both characters in old age, maybe even make them form an alliance/truce to defeat a bigger threat. That's kind of a cliche now, but if designed correctly, it could still work. Not saying recreate Rocky 3, but it'd be cool to see Shooter and Happy work together if only for a moment of the film. Since both actors are wanting to play for cancer charities, a plot line could include them coming back to play a tournament for charity, Happy thinking Shooter is attempting to make him look bad in the press if he doesn't come out of retirement and play against him, but later in the movie it's revealed Shooter has the same cancer the tournament is raising money for and only wanted Happy to play to bring in more money/attention to the cause.. That's a free plot, with a Shooter still being a villain, but getting redemption through his antics and rivalry with Happy..... Ultimately, just put love and effort in this film if it's going to happen. There are thousands of talented writers who would work for minimum just to be part of this project, so hire them and make this film work.

That’s a dick move telling Adam Sandler to his face that he’s never going to win an Academy Award, especially after his great performance in Uncut Gems. That’s like telling an athlete to their face in an interview that they are never going to make the Hall of Fame.

Unfortunately I think Dan was just telling the truth as hard as it was to hear that’s because the Academy has unfairly ignored Sandler. Not only Uncut Gems but also Hustle he was ignored for as well and that was Oscar worthy. I think Dan knows Adam is worthy of an Oscar but because they ignore great work by comedians like he and Jim Carrey they will be unfairly ignored. Let’s hope it changes one day because Carrey was Oscar worthy in The Truman Show and so was Sandler in Punch Drunk Love Uncut Gems and Hustle. I don’t think Dan meant to be hurtful with his comment just sadly speaking an unfortunate truth about comedians getting nominated and winning Oscars.

I first saw Chris McDonald in the movie "Benefit of the Doubt" from 1993 starring Donald Sutherland and Amy Irving. McDonald played Irving's boyfriend in the film. I had a crush on Amy Irving, so that's why I rented the movie in the first place. Chris did a great job though.

If Sandler has a pair of golf balls when the credits roll to Happy Gilmore #2 there will be some deleted scenes of Zohan, Little Nicky, Billy Madison and Bobby Boucher heckling Happy on the green. We need those characters again, if only for an outake...🍻

Also to see Hal L (The Orderly Guy) finally get his comeuppance. It'd be great to see Happy signing the tits of an old lady fan again, only it's the old Chinese lady who asked Happy "You don't want breakfast." 😂😂😂 A final scene with Happy looking in the clouds to see Grandma, Chubbs, JFK, and Mr Larson waving down from heaven to him would rock! 😃👍

Remember the importance of kosher symbols as well as the difference between kosher water and sink water. Torah says that water must have a cover to be clean. And the shower is not kosher for drinking or bathing because we can not see it’s source. For example looking at a gallon of Crystal Geyser water is much different than trusting your plumbing just because you can not physically see the source.
