I wouldn't call his flexibility insane. But his mobility is really impressive

Name more than 1000 people who can do what he did? Exactly anybody competing there is the top 1% of climbers and you have the audacity to say what you said 😂

@@HoeHandlerBefore posting comments you should consider thinking and getting some knowledge about the topic or you'll continue to make a fool of yourself. It's quite obvious that you don't know anything about sports. I'm a rock climber and I climbed with Adam before (to be honest just a few meters next to him). Furthermore I'm a huge fan of Adam and it was never my intention to badmouth this climbing. For one thing there are many flexible people out there. Ballet dancers or female gymnasts are more flexible than rock climbers but rock climbers are way more flexible than average Joe. But that's not the point. There is a difference between flexibility and mobility. Flexibility is passive range of motion while mobility is active range of motion (which is a lot harder to get btw). Here Adam showed his great mobility not his flexibility. But the video title is about flexibility. That was the whole purpose of my comment. Most people here got this. That's why the poster liked my comment for example.

Adam is btw not just an awesome climber, but just an overall wholesome human being. Watch his Videos with Magnus Midtbo, hes so fun to watch.

My rotator cuff hurts just watching
how would a dude with shorter arms even attempt that?!? good god.
Adam is so good at bouldering because he’s so agile and flexible in his movements. A joy of a human being too !
man that wingspan is so unfair sometimes lmao

In that case you'll be delighted to know wingspan is more than just your ape index. ape index is wingspan minus height. A +10 could be massive for a very short person while for a very tall person it might not be all that noticeable. Consider that Adam Ondra is one of the tallest currently active professional climbers at 190cm, and ape index starts to be less important than total wingspan, although a +10 is still an even further advantage. I apologize for my harsh comment, I didn't realize you were still developing. I should stop assuming everyone on the internet is an adult. or rather, that everyone on the internet has an exact understanding of everything I do.
I wouldn't call this flexibility, but mobility and reach is insane, plus the way he moves and uses his body is insane!
Dude, I’m not a climber but even I can see the technique he used was a level above all the other. It’s like he wedged himself between the holds
Although Adam as shown that he is REALLY flexible, this isn't it. It's more so about wing span.

As a casual observer of climbers, I was wondering exactly that. It seemed to me that he had an easier reach than everyone else shown previous.

this is just him being tall lol
Try to imagine one of these guys giving you a purple nurple
Well no wonder it's Adam Ondra ! Love the vid
I think his hight was also an Important factor benefiting that Climb
it looks to like the main difference is Adam trusted his left foot and kept his balance
That's a great route!
Funny comments. It's his wingspan! It's his reach! It's his height! No guys, it's he's an outstanding athlete.
The goat
Doesn't look like this has much to do with flexibility - though obviously his mobility is damn good! - the main difference between Ondra and the others shown here is his body positioning when moving into and past the first large hold. He has his arms and torso oriented pretty different from anyone else, which lets him find stability and reach.
Strength in movement ↑
I mean flexibility but also the wingspan and strength to do it static
Wingspan had a lot to do with this particular route
*Wow*
weird that all climbers are really thin as well as very strong. love how every branch has their own style
It didn't seem like it was really his flexibility that got him the send, but as mentioned by others, his reach. I mean, yes he's flexible, but by no means did this video show anything 'insane.'
Awsome climber but also the one with longest reach, arm length, ape stretch ...

Not his flexibility, its his height
It's arm reach not flexibility
W troll 😂
well this video shows only that he has a way wider span than the others - not flexibility ^^
It just looks like he is taller than those other guys. Not really any remarkable flexibility going on.
Looks like they were too small ;)
Taller in this case
W for the white athletes. Again and again white excellence is winning
Wow, thinking golf would be more exciting at present...
Not enough diversity 👎🏿
