I stopped watching this show when Adam didn’t win. I’ve never watched it again. Adam has the most amazing voice of anyone who has ever been on any talent show! There’s really nothing he couldn’t sing. He was obviously born to entertain with his looks, talent and charismatic personality. Performing with Queen these days and as a guest on many televised specials I think he is having the time of his life! If you haven’t heard him sing “I Believe in Love” on a special tribute to Cher you have truly missed one of the most outstanding performances I’ve ever seen. The control he has of his amazing voice is perfection. He puts so much feeling into the song and he got a standing ovation from Cher, (she was crying) and the audience of famous celebrities.

Adams strategy on this show was flawless. He knew when to pull back and strip it down, and when to go big or go home. He made sure to show that he could sing every genre, and made everything his own. He knew that was how you grab people’s attention. He set the bar impossibly high. Unmatched, once in a lifetime kind of talent.

@Adam Lambert You are so amazing in your role as lead singer with Queen, those were some mighty big shoes to try to fill but I've watched some of those concerts performing with Queen and you do an unbelievable job singing every single song, not like you were singing karaoke either, but somehow you stayed faithful to Freddie's interpretation of each song and yet still added just the right amount of yourself into it in the perfect way, and I mean that, perfect. I think Freddie would be eternally grateful to you for taking the job, and doing it just right, as yourself, not trying to exactly copy him but using your abilities to give tribute to him and Queen in a beautiful way and allowing his beloved band members to tour once again, to hear the crowds cheer as in their youth, and for them to see proof that their music will endure long after they're all gone. (and ...I have to say this...you managed to do all that being maybe the hottest singer ever to tour anywhere, on top of being one the man with THE MOST wide ranging vocals, and with the most ability to hold a note for an eternity....you are blessed my man.

@@DavidBerto lol I know I figured that out after I'd written the comment, (a few days before you told me here) so I started to take my comment down, but then I thought, "Naww, I'll leave it, the real guy might see it sometime & I meant it"... so, I left it. (I'll NEVER UNDERSTAND why anyone'd want to have someone else's name on their own accounts, but even more curious to me, why would you use some form of a famous person's name, a person you are a fan of ? I see a lot of younger people doing that on Twitter etc. If I was a famous person & I saw any iteration of my name or stage name as someone else's online i.d. that would weird me out, massively. I sure as hell would never type a comment to them, no way would I ever do that from my REAL ACCOUNT, now would I? No, because just having my name on their account would tell me enough because they're not respecting my boundaries, my ownership of my own name, one that I'd probably worked hard to get to whatever level of fame my name had. If I was famous and saw that, I'd think that person is far too likely to be a 'stalker wanna be', if they don't understand how uncomfortably creepy it is for them to want others to think they're ME? People should rethink why they do this, if they really are that famous person's fan, and not just trying to mess with people's heads. but hey....to each his own.....

He was better than all the others that season. I was so happy when I heard that Queen picked him to be in the band with them. I've watched several Queen + Adam Lambert concert video's. To be precise, Adam Lambert is not the lead singer of Queen. He is not a member of the band Queen, he is a guest of Queen when he performs with them and is always billboarded as Queen with Adam Lambert. Out of respect for Freddie, Queen will never replace Freddie with anyone else and therefore never have another lead singer in their band.

So rarely do you see a performer with as much x-factor as Lambert. Adam absolutely knows what he's doing every single second and it is glorious to watch. It doesn't matter one iota that he didn't win _American Idol_ because of a bunch of narrow-minded people, you can't hold fire like that down. it always turns out better for them NOT to win Idol as the resulting contract is absolutely restrictive and horrendous. He became free to other offers and well, now he's fronting Queen. Can't get better than that. What's the winner doing nowadays.

I remember i was doing my homework when the TV was on American Idol top 13.. i wasnt really watching.. but when Adam came and sang the very first note in Black or White, it really got my attention and stopped what I was doing. He was different from the other contestants, he had like that impact that leaves on you LOL. But back then I thought that maybe he's just like the other contestants that had like 1 good moment then after that nada.. but week after week he did not disappoint! and now 12 years later, still the very best!

I'm with u Rose West. I'm 75 yrs old and I can appreciate a sexy gay man. I love Adam and I watched him on American Idol and was very disappointed he didn't win. He should have but that's ok cause the other person was right he has won the world. He is beyond talented. No one can compare. God bless u Adam. I think he already has.

Can anyone even BEGIN to imagine being on stage singing one of Smokey Robinson’s songs WITH HIM SITTING FRONT ROW WATCHING YOU? Probably doesn’t get any better than that…. UNTIL IT DOES…..because when you finish the song HE GIVES YOU A STANDING OVATION! 😱 Adam 110% deserved to win that season & I never watched the show again after the night he was voted off! HE was most definitely one of the top 3 best singers/performers in that shows history!
