Yeah this game show comes off as a very creepy dystopian take on a game show. It almost feels as if you are being held hostage against your own will (fun fact: the show’s format and style were based on the creator’s experiences as a POW being interrogated by the Gestapo in World War 2. Gulp).

2:53 For a second there I thought Buxton was teeing up his answer, then I quickly realised that was actually his answer. 😂

sport palace! I was so hoping to see the absolute tool he said he made of himself when he was talking about this on his show with Edith Bowman, but they obviously thought to cut around the bit where he played his crotch like a pair of bongo drums. very sad indeed.

I was into Bowie in my teens, but I've never read a book about him or really anything about him over the last couple of decades and have barely listened to the music much since. Those questions were still piss. I got one less that Adam. I suspect like most people who go on this show Adam must have been delighted not to embarrass himself, but he was probably also a little peeved that the questions didn't test the knowledge of much more than a casual Bowie fan. I bet he boned up on Bowie for at least a couple of days if not weeks before this.
