To be frank with you the whole "if you ain’t white..then you’re black" statement that whites created caused blacks to except Asians use of the word which is why it’s not harmful when Asians used it. It was whites who were upset about it not phasing us and decided that it was wrong for Asians to use it by saying "oooh you said the n-word" so now Asians know that it’s degrading and some Asians has used it as such while others do not. I don’t know Adam’s ppl history but I can guarantee that the same source that have lighter Asians looking down on darker skinned Asians all across Asia is the same source behind his ppl history and the slur. You're not wrong at all, it is hurtful and a sad situation but you can't fight back. England is mean't to be a country only for europeans but because of cultural and religious clashes you get some people who are racist. Humans from different tribes and countries weren't really supposed to live together like this, but in a smart society ( which we definitely are not these days) surpasses judging someone for how they look and sound. ...' brit ' has never been used to cause offence or in a derogatory way. Many who are called these p word terms are British themselves. I have been called those words throughout my life and neither me or my family are from Pakistan. Its a term that is used to cause offence and a racist term usually to people of brown skin asian middle eastern descent regardless of where they are from usually to cause offence or to belittle others . Its a derogatory word not used as an abbreviation like brit or aussie which are rarely used in an abusive way. It's not the same at all.

The word is in the dictionary so he used it. He didn't use it against anyone or aim it in a hateful way towards anyone. He just simply said a word. He was also saying words that are racial slurs towards black people in the exact same video, but I don't see anyone saying anything against that. People have taken this situation out of context and been too sensitive and tried to cancel him. A word only has the power if you decide to give it that power and have a reaction to it.
