I used Sugru to fix the wheels on my dishwasher and I put it on the ends of my charging cables so they last longer. Thanks DaveHax for more great ideas. I especially like the idea of using it in the shower for hanging things.

I'm impressed at Sugru's holding and sticky strength, but I guess that comes at a price, huh? Real talk tho, can you do a comparison test between sugru and, say, wood glue? Or any test that shows how strong it sticks things together

Great video Dave, I especially like the teapot birdbox! I'm not sure about the mug hooks though, if the rubber is flexible I'd be worried that a mug could fall off and smash. Other than that, great video

I had a broken dream... just half a pack of Sugru smudged into the nooks and crannies and it is now as good as new! On a serious note, @DaveHax how much Sugru did you use on the saucepan handle? Looks like a full pack or even more! At £15 a pack, I'd have just gone to Aldi and bought a new saucepan!

Repairing headphone cables, where it changes from soft plastic too hard, it always wears there 1st. Also same with phone charger cables they over heat just where you plug them in. It is also good with Lego if you want to add custom hair or mask, or maybe a tail? I tried customising Lego with many things, nail polish, glue, paints. Most wipe off others wipe off, some melt the plastic! Sugru when dries is a little bendy yet strong, stays put on Lego plastic.

Haven’t seen a video like this in a while! I really like you using Sugru!

Idea: When you're shelf breaks and falls onto the floor, use a random sugru colour *depending what color you're shelf is* and then stick the broken parts to the parts that survived & didn't break,and then cool it for 24 hours, then you have a really cool shelf that is solid & stable again! :) Hope you use the idea in the next vid! I used Sugru to try to fix a motorcycle tyre puncture... Was a week old tyre and got a nail in it and being a 190/55 Pilot Road 4 tyre it isn't cheap so figured I'd give Sugru a try. Sadly it didn't last but did manage to do a 10 mile ride on it though hole was on the curve of the tyre and did use a large patch of it so maybe a smaller patch wouldn't be subject to flexing as much. I know it may have seemed a dangerous idea and kinda is so don't try it but after considering what would likely be the worst case scenario I couldn't see the Sugru just blowing out especially as I patched it on the inside of the tyre not the outside. So worse possible case would be a slow puncture which is exactly what happened.

Some of these hacks could definitely be solved with super glue. And #1 hack would be a lot more secure using heat shrink tubing. But I still like Sugru.

I'm sorry, but that headphone wire looks like garbage after the fix. I know it requires a bit more skill, but if you ever rip your headphone wires, you should just change the entire thing. It's not that complicated, a bit of soldering, and voila

I remember when I was younger, I saw your sugru videos so I got it, but then it got in my carpet and now I can’t get it ever lol

I’d use it to fix my Joy-Con locks. I don’t think it would work, but if it did, that would be pretty cool, huh? Or maybe making grips for a DS.
