Actually, it's very hard when dry, I used it to fix a gap around my dish washer. Worked great now for 3 years, exposed to detergent and extremely hot water. Not even a crack

BAHAHAHAHA

You can make a diy version actually; Directions: With a silicone tube squeeze for 3 seconds into a reusable bowl. You should have about 1 teaspoon of silicone in your bowl. Now take a food coloring of your choice and put 2-3 drops in your silicone. Remember work quickly after you do this. Now, take another reusable bowl and fill it half way with corn starch. Take your silicone and pick the silicone up from the bowl using a spoon then place it gently on top of the cornstarch. Cover the silicone blob with a layer of cornstarch. Now put on a pair of reusable gloves and keep keanding the corn starch and silicone together until it is like a clay. Now mold it into anything you want! Just remember you have only 10 minutes to mold something.

​​@@peterpansplaygroundI'd say it's about the same. I've used this for cheap mold making for casting in resin, and used sugru for a small edit to a model. I would say suguru is quite expensive in comparison for a small quantity of silicone. Also you can also color the above mixture with a small amount of paint. Sorry to bump this old comment just thought someone else might wonder too haha.
