Me too, same age as your Mum, but have always loved fashion. Must admit, I may do at bit of mutton sometimes 😂. Only if I feel good in it😊

Closer to your mom's age and it's so nice to see a mature woman looking her age but put together. You can never go wrong with classic outfit choices.

Fit flop are so comfy, I wear the trainers and shoes for work, have done for years, and they have so helped my back.

Enjoyed the fashion segment with your Mum, I like to help mine choose clothes that are flattering, comfie and modern too. Re the blinds I like the more patterned/textured one you discarded but I really think a much stronger colour would make the kitchen scheme pop - a moss or olive green or rust would warm it up. Look forward to seeing updates on the garden, don't worry if it's not perfect gardening is a work in progress and don't forget to relax and enjoy it!

I would have class any jewellery that's not real silver or gold as costume jewellery. Am I wrong 😊 Your garden is gorgeous

I would go with non linen blinds. The colour is the closest to your wall colour. You currently have very clean palette in your kitchen. With nice grey accent cabinetry. Linen has texture, that will add extra "business" you don't necessarily need, because its a natural fibre. Also, from my personal experience, as much as it hurts me to say, linen in the kitchen is not exactly the most perfect material to go for. But most important thing, I could advise is to choose whichever material, colourise matches walls the most. That way no matter which material you will choose, you will be able to maintain, that clean, understated luxury look you are going for!
