#ad Bending aluminum EMT. This is new to me. Definitely not the last time I use this….

Ойын-сауық

At first, I was very skeptical. After working with it a while, it seems like there shouldn’t have ever been an alternative. This is THE product. As you can see this emt conduit is very easy to bend, very easy to work with. And my favorite part: VERY LIGHT. #electrician #apprentice #howto #hydro #americanconduit #construction

In my area some inspectors do not allow you to install NM cable inside of conduit except in basement to protect maybe 5 or 6' of cable. Heard one reason for not allowing NM cable inside of conduit some people could be able to know what guage the wire is. Typical type THHN/THWN wire that is normally pulled in conduit has the wire guage printed on wire jacket what every 6 to 12".

Beyond cost and ease of pulling wire through it, are there other benefits to using aluminum conduit? Just curious. Thanks for sharing.
