Maybe the most beautiful car I've ever seen.

Great job Honda, the cars looks outstanding, and the interior is fantastic. I just hope they won't screw it up in the final version. Would love to see a small high reving V8 in this, but that's probably a pipe dream. Its not gonna be easy to match a legendary car with all the great machines that are out now. Hope the NSX will be back soon.

I know that. That's why I'm confused as to why there is not a single picture of the Honda badged JDM version. You'd assume Honda would've showed it off in Japan first with the Honda badge. Either way, I can't wait to see thing in action.

I think we found the gtr's competition as best car out of japan. Gtr is and always will be a legend though.

This isn't your ordinary hybrid guys. That's why it's taking so long to come out. Be patient

Price of NSX would most likely be similar to that of LFA, considering they're releasing it under the Acura brand rather then Honda brand. LFA is branded unrer Lexus instead of Toyota too. However GT-R comes under Nissan, not Infiniti.

How many hybrid sports cars have you driven? I think I know the answer. The electric boost in power, with its instant torque, provides a great boost in acceleration and driving experience. Doesn't sound like alcohol free beer to me.

I agree. They should respect their fan base and give at least a glimpse of homage to the original. This car should be called an RSX GT3.

They should have sticked with this design. It looks so much better.

Finally, a Japanese supercar that looks right. If the price is similar to GT-R, I will get one. If it is like LFA, please don't bother. Just keep as a concept car.

Toyota and Subaru have done exactly that. Its the Scion Fr-S and the Subaru BRZ

I actually think it's the opposite...if they make everyone wait 2 years that will raise expectations, and and everyone will expect a masterpiece, which is what Honda should be striving for in the first place. Development and research for the original NSX began in 1984 (6 years before its launch), so I think this new one will be worth the wait.

yes Acura That's more like it. This will be the first "mass production" Hybrid supercar that is priced accordingly to the supercar market. Unlike those "Squashed beetle" brand limited production model that will cost 8 times as much. This is actually around $150K~

as a past NSX owner, I like the thought of a new NSX a lot. Design cues are overall pleasing on this car and the interior mirrors the flow of the old interior while looking a lot higher quality ... but c'mon, Honda ... another 2 years before production? You've lost momentum already and the various changes just make me think you really are not committed to building this car. Start over, if needed, and then make it!

I wish they'd go with the classic tail lights, or at least the shape of it, it's like an entirely different car it LOOKS like, not feels like, since nobody knows yet, it is just a different car, just called the NSX. If that makes any sense...

you are forgetting one of the most important characteristic of a real sports car: weight i'll think about an "hybrid sports car" as a real sports car when it will be as fast around the corner as a regular sports car of the same power. and as reliable and fun. until then i will still consider hybrids as the hippie's cars

you my friend seem to not know how much carbon fibre costs and even so look at it! it is supercar-esc and is a hybrid. its going to be over 80k almost certainly and probaby even more.

The HSC concept would have sold very well if they had put it into production, i know Acura wanna get it right but come on,just put it out there! it cant be worse then the new C7 vette.

Now I want Honda to put the HSV-010 out on production. That'll be just as hardcore. And while they're at it. Bring back the S2000. They'll have two supercars and a real sports car in their line up. Then NO longer will Honda be infamous for riced out Civics, but will be the company who's known to bring the best of super sports cars to the roads.

Why would you care what Acura makes? They didn't license the Honda S2000 as an Acura. Although Acura is Honda's luxury line I think they have completely different teams of people designing and building either.company's cars.

the poor man's Audi R8. if this ever gets into production it will probably be at the upper range of 30k with all of the perks and a base model at 29k. would I buy? maybe, probably if I could not afford an r8
