You can take that corner bolt out and go in easier through the wheel well. Just take out the outer edge bolts and that same bottom corner. That way no plastic snaps!

I'm def about to attempt to do this my light has been off for ever and u telling all I had to do is u tube this ty ty so much very helpful

there’s a simpler way to access the DRL bulb…going thru the fender, where the tire/s are…see other videos, otherwise, this also works.

I just got back from dealer and they didn't even bother to do this for me. You did an amazing job and great video...but I wonder why the car maker don't make it simpler these days to just press a button to pop open and change the bulb !!

Very informative video. I’m with the driver’s side camp. There are other videos showing this can be done by bending the wheel well cover. I’m wondering if anyone has gained access by removing the small piece of splash guard that’s bent down, given the corner nut at the bottom along with the 3 hex nuts fastening that small splash guard can be removed.

Just changed the drivers side drl bulb. I don’t know how this video did it without taking out the lower corner 10mm and 2x Philip screws to loosen the wheel well cover then go in from there. On top of the 2x plastic tap screws in this video. Mask tape the side of the bumper wheel well cover will be bending over to avoid scratches. I’d sprayed wd40 silicon to loosen the original bulb. Nonetheless, this is by far the best video I.

Any way to clear the notification? I took the fuses out for both of the lights because I dont like having them on 24/7 and the notif bugs me

Hi! My DRL system message is up. However, when the car is in a dark location, message is off and all lights are working. What are your thoughts to that? TY!

So when you car is in a dark room like your garage, you automatic headlight sensor will notice its dark and turn your night time headlights on. When it turns you headlights on, then it turns the Daytime Running lights off, when the DRL are off it does not know if one is out because its not sensing them anymore its sensing the night time headlights. My daytime light it's not dead. But sometimes it show up.

Just a note those are not your daytime running lights those are your fog lights

It’s ridiculous that people need a lift and an on staff ASE certified master technician just to change a light bulb 💡 we are doomed
