Aculon Refugee REACTS to ish's "1000 Players Build MASSIVE Civilization in Minecraft"
Ойындар
Today, I'm joined by Koniri, a higher-up Aculon loyalist; Saparata, the leader of the desert nation of Theria; and Ehas99, one of the owners of the plains' tavern. We will be reacting to ish's latest civilization video, and pointing out anything that's fact, that's cap, or that's just plain interesting! Be sure to stick around to find out all the secrets you never would have known about "1000 Players Build MASSIVE Civilization in Minecraft"! Feel free to ask any questions in chat and we'll do our best to answer them!

@@intuitionedits2.032 Honestly, what really made Aculon fall apart was the killing of Turkey. Take the cohorts November and Sierra, for example. Of all (more or less) 20 people in those cohorts, maybe only me, Spyder and Turkey were actually unhappy with Aculon before the assassinations. Once our leaders were killed though (Turkey was also baron of cohort November, and Spyder, who also was executed, was baron of cohort Sierra), we all defected, with the exception of two players. Most other cohorts were less unanimous in their defections, but those executions really pushed people who had no intention of defecting beforehand to fighting for the deposition of Elanuelo.

I just want to say to Saparata that when I very first watched the video with no context, I did not at all think of you as a coward. I thought of you as a brave leader from the start. Leading a whole different civilization outside of the Sultan, and you tried your very best to allow your people to live freely as a community.
Really interesting video. At first I was sad to hear that the whole thing wasn't spontaneous, but now I realise it is incredible that Ish managed to make a really cool movie with so many variables. Two questions for anyone involved. What percentage of the plot was scripted vs spontaneous? What percentage of general behaviour, day in day out, was spontaneous vs just working towards the script?
@KaNukei
10 ай бұрын
The plot was probably 80% scripted, and then I don’t think daily behavior was scripted at all. Ish didn’t really have a pre planned plot when the event started, he just guided it to a satisfying conclusion, and adjusted a few events in post to make things fit better in a video

2:59:20 just to explain the pardoning of TooDrew: there was a trial, and we (I was part of the jury) expected to actually vote to find TooDrew guilty and execute him. But then the accusation lawyer (Alan, from the SaulGoodman group) didn't bring any evidence to back up his claims, whilst TooDrew did bring some evidence in his favour. We all found the evidence in favour of TooDrew to be flimsy, but there was nothing to counter it, so we had to find him not guilty. Just FYI, the crimes TooDrew was charged for were (if I recall well): 1. The unjust execution of Turkey (Elanuelo was supposed to also be tried for this if he survived the war), and 2. The slaying of innocent civilians from the blue cross during the Aculon war

@@John-115 yeah, i doubt the aculon soldiers would have even been able to get to desert so it would be 2 fights. Maybe Ish thought it would be too easy for the BoP to win if they did a divide and conquer like that, or maybe he just wanted a single climactic showdown. Either way I don't think it was a horrible decision and the entire thing was still awesome, especially after knowing what happened on the inside of things.

And what about the fact that Ish revived Daverit and other players to help the allies in the last fight and give them more numbers ? That in ish video,saparata suicides because his plan failed,when in reality saparata suicided DAYS before daverit even trying to kill the sultan,and it was from shame that his plan got exposed. And not only that but after daverit got killed trying to kill the sultan,u can still see daverit at the final fight cuz ish revived him,aswel as many other players to fake the entire shit !? The whole god damn video is an edited scam. The video about the truth about the deset is much of what really happened.
Why is the audio volume so low on this video, i've got my speakers on middle setting so i can hear everyone speak but any other video would blow out the ears of my cat at this setting.

To be honest, I’m not sure. I’ve had a couple issues with audio balancing
Just saw this video too. Took my like half an hour to figure out that "cap" means "exaggeration." I was like, "What the fuck?" Samuel L.: "English, motherfucker, do you speak it?" That said, this was a good video that helped to clarify some things. It was a bit sad that Ish kind of forced/heavily suggested a final battle in spite of some of the natural developments. How long did the server go on after the Battle of Aculon? It's always a bit weird when people fight a battle of the ages, and then the server doesn't go on for the victors to realize the vision for which they fought (which was the case if people genuinely wanted to be free of Elanuelo). Hopefully one day I'll get to try something like this. I remember fantasizing that these things would happen as early as the Alpha/Beta days of Minecraft.

Turkey's death, his actual death was actually him being jumped by elanuelo and his team which led to him being killed (hence the death message being "Afreakinturkey was slain by elanuelo") However Ish wanted a more dramatic effect so even if though the fall to lava was a little unnecessary it did create a cool scene

I think it's a more to make a narrative on a civilisation of a minecraft player. naturally, there won't likely be any war. only some minor conflict since it's not necessary. the population only decreases, so no space constraints and resources are hardly limited. there's a need for outside intervention to push the conflict between them (or just put player that want to kill each other only)
@KaNukei
11 ай бұрын
Yeah that is the point, and as a player in the experiment I still feel like we were allowed to do whatever we wanted, it’s just as the experiment started to end he pushed it in a way that would be a more satisfying ending. Tbh all the staged scenes are the scenes I found cringe. They're just one of the characters giving a theater kid monologue. Making up scenes that didn't exist, whatever, that's another can of worms. But I wish he didn't make people reshoot scenes that he already got on camera because they're a bit cringe. I mean chances are some random minecraft kid didn't study acting so they just sound unnatural. I bet the genuine scene is better. Whatever, I watch reality TV sometimes, so I won't complain.
