Wow, he used the term “pogie bait.” The first time I heard that phrase was when I went to basic training at Ft. Benning in 2007…. Some things never change!

Actually, it's a realistic view of Boot Camp. I was in the USAF but my experience was pretty much a mirror of The D.I.

Most of the cast where actually active Marines

Way better! When I went to basic, I kept expecting it to get like Full Metal Jacket, but it never got that bad. Expecting the worst made it so much easier!
