Do you think these movies were better with these replacements?
I didn't even know they replaced Crispin in part 2. That was crazy.
Directors had their reason. Like you said, various reasons. Some were not that good. Some needed and justified
Not gonna lie, when I saw Back to the Future II for the first time, I legit thought George was still played by Crispin Glover. I wasn't keen on watching the end credits, so I was none the wiser.
I love what you do
“The guy playing Crispin” 🤌
Because of reoccurring health issues Dick York ended up being housebound for the last several years of his life. He spent his days calling up local, state, and federal politicians on behalf of organizations which supplied support for the homeless.
the change of actresses in TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR was just about the only high point of the movie with Maria Bello's in-joke at her first appearance; as a blonde gone dark, one really wonders how Italian and Italian-American actors would have responded to Ryder going 'ethnic' when nearly all her screen roles involve her dyeing her blonde hair. S.Coppola hardly jarred as much as George Hamilton taking over Robert Duvall's job (couldn't they have found a youngish follically-challenged actor to play Tom Hagen Jnr?)
Lesson is everybody is replaceable
They fucked up replacing Manny on bewitched.😤
