An interesting selection of plots for this song =) Only Dimash is against violence, absolutely. The song is very uplifting, but only for the sport. By the way, it is very interesting that in Russian they never say "he killed" as a praise for a good song or something else. Similar "compliments" are given only for a dispute, for a specific opponent. For the song we say "he did it", that is, the praise is constructive, not destructive. Languages give very interesting knowledge about the thinking of different peoples =) I am not writing this for the purpose of comparing better or worse, no way! Just another fact that people are different. And this is very good: you don't have to try to do everything according to one template, you just need to accept others, and not impose your own.

Cedric, I don't understand you without automatic subtitles. /// The song "Olimpico" is an outstanding work of neo-classics. The music was written by Russian composer Igor Krutoy especially for Dimash. To perform this song you need two singers - a baritone and a soprano. Or you need one Dimash. /// In this video Dimas is 25 years old. He sings in Italian at the closing of the World Festival of Professional Excellence at the Grand Stadium in Kazan, Russia, August 30, 2019. // The premiere of the song "Olympic" took place at the opening of the II European Olympic Games in Minsk, Belarus, June 21, 2019. Yes, it's a combat song designed to inspire athletes around the world. Dimash is a genius far beyond his years. He knows exactly how to press our buttons and make us go, how to stimulate our passions, how to make our hearts beat harder and faster, and how to make us cry. Dimash sang "Olympic" to inspire and stimulate Olympic teams from all over Europe. We are also inspired when we watch his performances. /// I recommend seeing another version of this song OLYMPICO / OGNI PIETRA (Arnau, Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan, 29.06.2019) kzread.info/dash/bejne/lp-EtZitaJfXl5c.html

👉A Dear said: 'Dimash is the Olympic god Zeus who motivates athletes and all people to overcome difficulties in the struggle for victory. First, Dimash sang this song at the opening of the 2nd European Games on June 21, 2019 in Minsk (Belarus). He is also an opera singer and so he sings this song in Italian (the language of music), with an opera voice (Bariton-Sopran). No one else then Dimash can sing this song alone. In Russia he won 2019 the prize for best opera song. That is the first song, who was composed for Dimash by Igor Krutoi, music titan in Russia (billionaire) and a famous composer who came out of retirement to work together with Dimash from time to time. Lilia Vinogradova wrote the lyrics and is known as a permanent co-author of the composer Igor Krutoy, with whom has created wonderful works in the crossover genre. She writes poems and texts for Russian and foreign composers and many well-known artists in Russian, Italian, English and French. Krutoy and Vinogradova created the cycle for DA Hvorostovsky, albums for Sumi Jo, Anna Netrebko, Yusif Aivazov, Lara Fabian and others. She says: 'And now we've added Dimash as a new element to our creative symbiosis.' The trio also wrote the masterpiece 'Passione': kzread.info/dash/bejne/aoWoq8GfoLevqMY.html By the way, you should also subscribe to Igor's channel. The staging and production of this performance is indeed epic but my favorite performance of Ogni Pietra is the one on the composer's channel. You don't have to react to it but I would love for you to check it out at least on your own. Same song but the production is much more like a rock concert/techno opera and I think, with your interests and background, you'll really enjoy the staging, lighting, and all the moving parts. Plus, the camera spends a little more time with Dimash so you get to see more of his performance and stage presence that gets lost in the huge stadium of the video you reacted to. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lp-EtZitaJfXl5c.html Loving your reactions so far, Cedric, and the angle you're bringing to reaction videos. I really enjoy the insight into the vocals, performances, and techniques from a stage and screen performer's perspective. Anyway, just wanted to share this other production/performance of Ogni Pietra with you even if we don't get to see you experience it because I think - no, I KNOW - you'll love it. Enjoy!

Dimash has been introduced to the US audience, and he is going to stay in the US to learn and perfect his English. He wants to go down the road of more pop music, but I don't know how can he be marketed, because people would want to hear his full range of 6 octaves. The team, his handles, must make the right decision, or he's going to forgotten. I think he should be in both opera, and Broadway. Anything else that would suit him is something like Night wish. Mixing rock and operatic sounds. Something like The Phantom of the Opera.

There's a saying about Dimash. There are Good level singers, There are Great level singers, There are Superb level singers, Then.. there is Dimash Level. The one and only. Though his natural vocal timbre is a Tenor, he can go bass, baritone, Soprano, even most high notes that Dimash does most sopranos find it incredibly hard to sing or can't reach.

This song always strikes me as General Dimash from the Roman Empire inspiring his gladiator Dears into battle. Think of the Braveheart freedom speech. I'd follow him into battle. His concert in Kazakhstan when he sang this song he went into compete beast mode. Completely enveloped himself in character, and if you watch the fancam version at the very end you can see him come out of character. I think that staging and setting there was a bit more conducive to the performance rather than this 'in the round' stage. Definitely suggest you watch that privately just to see it.

There is a song, Across Endles Dimensions, where the highest note at the end of the song seems to be an electric guitar. I recommend it to you for further reaction.

This song was specially written for him and this occasion by Igor Krutoy. This Russian billionaire came back from retirement, because he knew it would be a joy to work with Dimash. This song was performed in a huge sports stadium at the opening of a multi sports event. Dimash is Zeus admonishing the athletes to show strength and never give up. In a recent q and a with his fans Di said that it all comes with practice. Plus a ton of talent, we would add.

Hi Ibrounen, I was indeed a huge stadium but this wasn't a sports event it was the "World Skills" a showcase for younger people exhibiting their skills in whatever they were learning or working apprentices in. It was written to spur the athletes on but that was at the European games in June 2019. 👍👍

Dimash is impressive. He's only 26 so his voice will mature even more. He's a tall guy towering at over 6'3 and his 8 pounds short of 200 lbs. He's surely gonna get a little more massive as he hits 30. I also heard from opera coaches that males voice maturity comes when they reach 32 to 35 so what going to happen then??? He is already the best!💫💥

Exactly 5 octaves in this song. I'm pretty sure Dimash unhinges his jaw - that's part of his alien DNA. I haven't read the other comments, but I'll guess others have already written that this isn't the best performance , production, audio quality, instrumentation, camera editing, or staging of this song. With all due respect to your patreon who specifically requested this version, the performance from Dimash's own Arnau concert in Kazakhstan wipes the floor with this one. If you're interested in seeing it on your own time, here's the link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lp-EtZitaJfXl5c.html

Cedric, thanks for another enjoyable review. This is one of my favorites, too (although, as I'm sure you understand, with Dimash I have way many favorites). On a side issue, you mentioned in this reaction that you can't roll your r's to save your own life -- but sure you can! Understand : in a language with rolled r's (which is the norm, from a worldwide perspective), you would be regarded as having a speech impediment. So, what do you do when you have a speech impediment? You go to a speech therapist! However, if you go to one in an English-dominant country, you may be told to just not worry about it, so if you really do want to learn to roll your r's, then go to a speech therapist in a rolled-r-language-dominant country, e.g. Mexico, Spain, etc. I'll bet, though, that you could find one locally. If you do it, good luck! Back to Dimash -- I believe the range in this song spans a bit past 4 octaves, from something like D2 (that's a guess) up to E6 (that's a certainty). Stunning, eh? Enjoy.
