Activities to Increase Brain Development Age 0 to 5 years old

Here are some of the activities and lessons I taught my oldest child to help them develop as well as expose them to various experiences. I believe that pouring into a child early in life helps them to see the options and opportunities available to them in life so that they are better prepared to make decisions about what they want to do in life later on.

please come back my son is 7 months old and I found you while I was pregnant knowing the intentions I had for his education. I started out strong the first 3 months and lately have fallen off. I need to get back to it but need help with his current age and making a schedule for him. however, I don't have a lot of parental friends and the few I'm making aren't on a similar journey so I'm feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed. It's a lonely journey for sure. Trying to get my husband on board to actually participate as he says he wants more for our son as well. but that's a work in process seeing as he never really witnessed such things growing up or know anyone who has had success doing these things. For example, I started elimination control with my son just before he was 4 months because he was already scratching at the diaper tabs and he didn't like to be wet. when I bought the potty my husband was ready to store it away until he was closer to 1 or walking. I told him no that I was starting now, he was skeptical until he saw our boy use the potty within the first two days of putting him on constantly both pee and poo by day 4. (I've fallen out of routine with this as well but when I do put him on he still knows to use it.) I think sometimes people just need to see it to believe it as many don't share their stories or how they did it.

I’m here for you! I can completely relate to falling off sometimes or feeling unmotivated. It’s a natural part of the journey. Honestly, sharing helps to keep me going because I get great messages like this from likeminded mothers who are pushing every day to support their children too. I have been recording more lately and I am looking forward to uploading more. ❤️
