Forget about clearing the room....let's talk about this dude with the ski glasses indoors, head bandana and the ankle tapered sweats! ...is he in witness protection or something??
Who tf invited Blake from workaholics to the shoothouse? 🤣🤣

it's inspiring to see the mastery of these techniques. Room clearing is a crucial skill set, and learning from the best is invaluable.
Sounds like the most important thing is knowing your team.

speaking from playing ready or not. its funny because the first hours is cycling through players and when you have solid people they stick around to get beter and better at cqb. time with your team is the greatest lesson

@Gwiffer Lol it's funny you mention Ready or Not. I have a few Marine buddies who all get together on Friday nights to game and RoN is one of those where we have been teaching the PoGs how to clear rooms.

That's nice. Then there is the Cav Scout method. "Iron Thunder this is Saber three alpha. Call for fire, over."
Where's black Rambo when you need him he definitely needs to be on this episode
Very nice training. I just completed very similar room clearing refresher training this past weekend for my teams. Funny timing on the video. Number 1 man is always right and communication is key.
The video gave a nice first person perspective. I feel that I actually learned something. Keep up the great work guys.
I’ve done this training with my own guys. Running air soft guns in my buddies work.. Lights off and randomly placed cardboard dummies.. It has taught me so much in clearing a room.
This was awesome, TY CF! Practice makes Mastery.
Should be a part series for sure!
Really cool video. Thanks for sharing this!
This is a great refresher and reminder that I need to train and practice cqc again, even though I don't do it for a living anymore. Knowing what to do doesn't translate into preforming it correctly... Especially when your life depends on it!

LOVED this entire video series from Active Crisis Consulting. A lot of great information. One Question: what does "splitting the door" mean?

Not sure if it was mentioned but a big part of this is making sure your kit and gun is quiet. If you are rattling around making a bunch of noise every time to step... When you gun goes up and to the ready... probably not going to help you any.
Freaking good video. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like a great coarse and instruction.
Threat Priority List: 1. People with guns 2. People with less guns 3. People with guns through open doors 4. People with guns through closed doors
I learned to clear a room in the police academy. However, this video was much more detailed and in depth. The PA was not nearly as knowledgeable as this. Thank you, I need to study this video many more times!
I have had years of CQB training in the Army, including live fire training and clearing down range, and I have to say I learned some good things just in the few short minutes of this video. I love how the SEALS do some of their movements, especially the high-ready position. I would love to take this course.

@@handled99 Sure, but even the experts know that the basics are the bedrock of everything else. So, since no one knows everything, various points of view and methodology are crucial to gaining proficiency. NEVER say "Everything they taught here is basic" as if that is a reason not to get the training.ALL training is valuable and refresher courses are valuable to someone who does not do this every day.
@handled99

@@Shooter11B That's not the point. You claimed to have "years of CQB training in the army" but learned something new. What could have been new that you didn't learn in your "years of CQB Training" from a video that went over basic concepts?
@Shooter11B
3 ай бұрын
@@handled99 Simple, high port. We don't use that method in the Army. It looks like to me that it is a superior way to carry the rifle for CQB than low-ready. So, there ya go. That is one, I am sure there is other stuff in there to point out as different and potentially better than Army CQB SOP. Basics are basics but they are not all the SAME basics brother. Heck, look at the speed of movement, and hand signals as opposed to verbal cues. Different missions different techniques. Again, we all do it differently.
@handled99

@@Shooter11B low ready and high ready are both beneficial in CQB depending on the situation. It's good to have both in the tool box. One isn't better than the other.
In real life, un intentional flagging happens, whether it be stress, the size of the room you’re in, etc. Always, no matter how stressed, maintain proper trigger discipline.
Awesome video 👏
Nice training
Looks like some good fun training and comradely
I love this educational video
Good info
Thank you for putting out educational videos like this! I picked up a lot of good info. At 23:30, is "check up" a signal for all clear?
Please stop with the background music or chimes… I have hearing aids and can’t hear some of the audio because of the background noise. I liked the video. I like many of the CFA videos.
I think mostly the technics everyone can learn it working with your partners an learning their silent responses an signs an how they move are the most important so practice practice practice with your team
Never thought about using the Manthis for cqb class
*NOT* something you can say, "I saw it on a video once. I got this." They're handing out gold here fellas but it must be practiced live. "Muscle Memory" counts big time in this scenario.

Jason, did they mention anything with trigger finger placement while entering?
@mcleancorpusa8709
3 ай бұрын
We don't cover that much because everyone is slightly different and that is SOPs based off of who you are working with. Some units we work with are on fire finger on the trigger as they break the threshold, other groups SOPs may be to stay on safe finger off the trigger the entire time until reay to shoot, and some may be on fire finger off the trigger. It's completely on the unit that you are working with and we're not going to say which way is right and which way is wrong in that one. It's also dependant on your ROE's.
You guys are so lucky. Also I feel like I should be paying to watch this (hah)
