one quote that I often think about is “you are a woman with a man inside watching a woman. You are your own voyeur” .. rlly makes you think abt how you present yourself to others vs what is actually your authentic self

46 yr old born witch who's lived mostly in the Deep South my entire life... This is the kind of wisdom I needed to hear when I was your age. There wasn't a way for young women to express themselves publicly, and not be completely shamed, when I was a young adult. I'm relieved to see that's changing. I spent decades having to hide; I even received threats of violence whenever someone discovered what I am. I have an entire wasted life because of lack of opportunity and this region. I want younger women to have so much more than what I did. The more we speak up and out the harder it is to silence all of us. The very best to you and your subscribers. Blessings!

I cried. Since I was born, no one actually taught me a lot about my feminine energy and being a woman. And because of this I have always compared myself to other women crying all night about myself and how much I hated not being like them. Thanks to you I’m discovering a new world and I am starting to appreciate many many things. My mother is an excellent parent, but she is a little bit too busy sometimes and we never talked about these things. I love hearing your gentle voice and getting inspired by your words. I love watching your videos and this time I took some notes. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. Thank you for being you💌

so two things: 1) your points on living in a patriarchal world coincides perfectly with something i read the other day. for reference, i’m taking an ancient mediterranean class, and i had to read a primary document on a speech from a roman official in regards to women protesting on the streets against a law they didn’t like. he straight up says, “if you let [women] be your equals, they will be your superiors”. and, he also says (to paraphrase) that if you let women gather and don’t keep them controlled by their male family, they have the capability to overthrow men in charge. i’ve never seen someone say it so loudly, but this man from ancient rome (marcus cato i think his name was) basically admitted what i think all women know on an unconscious level: men are scared of us. they fear what we could do to them if we team up and if they don’t keep us under control. this is how ancient roman (and most sedentary, agricultural societies) functioned. 2) what’s amazing about this video is that i actually have a paper i need to write comparing two fertility goddesses (aphrodite and hathor) today for the same class. i got to pick this topic, and after this video, i think it’s clear this is from me wanting to analyze and learn my own goddess energy in my own way. sure, this is academic, but like you said, everyone is unique. either way, thank you for this video! and i hope your autumn phase passes as painlessly and smoothly as possible. thank you for being so open with us, ik it can’t be easy ♥️♥️♥️

the absence of my father and enduring abuse as child has put my masculine energy on the forefront for many years because i felt like needed to be the man for myself.. to the point where it blended into my habits and personality as an adult who is finally far from her abusers.. now i yearn to just be a girl and learn how to invite the femininity back.. i feel sorry for her and i want her prominent in me.. thank you for proving to me that she is still there and around me wherever i go and to not feel any guilt or shame in embracing her

I'm so excited to bring in the menstruation season cycle in my routine I think this will help me sooooo much with tapping into my femininity and not feeling so random and confused with my changes throughout the month I grew up with a damaged/abusive relationship with my father which led to more damaged relationships with men....men became something to fear, instead of a shelter of support and protection....At a very young age I saw myself move from a more blissful, creative and free energy to a controlling one, and feeling the need to always chase everything..(I do have a lot of fire energy in my astrological chart so I'm sure that plays some role). My wish for the new year is tap into my trusting receptive state, to Let Go, Let God, Create, and Receive.... thank you soooooo much for this vid!

Absolutely love this video ❤️ I’ve rejected my feminine energy for quite some time due to gender dysphoria (and I also grew up in a strict religion that sees masculinity as superior) but I realize now that we all need both masculine and feminine energy balanced. I was also diagnosed with PMDD so I understand the pain of dealing with the luteal phase

There is this Vedic astrologer on KZread called Claire Nakti, and in her articles it stuck with me how she says all women and feminine beings are goddesses by nature and since birth, since they are the passive principle, yin, they already are divine! I love this video for this same reason, teaching us and giving advice on the way we can reconnect to that soft divinity that we already embody but through past experiences and trauma tend to neglect. Love your videos Karissa!!! Keep it up!! 💕
